Oceans Apart

Collaboration poem: Jason Williams Darren White *** I’ve fallen for him, I’m head over heals His picture I have, gives me so many feels. His smile, his eyes, so beautiful to me, When he looks my way, then what does he see? I look at his photos, so dear to me His eyes warm and sometimes sad Whatever he tells me, all I can see Is gentleness and love, nothing bad. Just to hear his voice and what he will say. Bringing light to my world, he brightens my day. Oceans apart, it’s really not fair But I love what we have, I know that he cares. I won't forget the day we met for real I love him and know him so very well Every little thing makes me whole, I feel Alive again, totally under his spell With each day that passes, i'm starting to find; He's sweet and compassionate, this angel of mine. Each night i wait and each night I long for morning to come, with him I belong His little giggles, how he feels no shame around me, how he talks, what he says That's the way love evolves, he feels the same about me, his loving, tender ways. By candlelight, I lie awake in bed, with visions of him skating through my head. For morning I wait, for morning I long. In the mean time, I listen to our song. I dance, arms wrapped around me, I sway, Rock back and forth with memories I hope that one day, not just a piece Of me will be with him, and this time stay
