Victim of the System

You're a victim of the system
Lost inside the hivemind
You're taught to breed before 17
You're forced to be another torch that burns down my walls
You must learn all the trends, otherwise you're retarded

Victim of the system

I don't blame you, I was once in your place,
wires in my brain,
singing the same lyrics as everyone else,
Stuck in the same spotlight for years,
A brain injected with anxiety

Victim of the system

Why do you create chaos,
when peace is so close,
why do you bring guns to the knife fight,
The goverment encourages hospitality,
but uses war was a resolve tatic.

Victim of the system

If I told you, "you're not a rebel, you follow their every command." you would scream the truth out and whisper the lie in,
The pain that you cause is clouded by murky waters,
You have no voice,
except to laugh when others struggle to break free.

Victim of the system

Once Again

I find peace in darkness,
But can never sleep,
My head rings with the songs of the damned,
A lost path,
I'm blind.

Maybe it will get better,
Maybe I will get rest tonight,
Oh but no,
Oh no,
Not tonight,
I've just been injected with more anxiety.

An endless cycle of regret,
carelessness,
and dismissiveness.

And I blame myself fully,
I am the cause,
But I cannot stop this,
This madness that seeks me,

In the morning I must only pretend,
Durning the day I must sleep,
but cannot,
In the evening the cycle begins again.

My energy is renewed.

If I Cannot

I can see the light through the window,
It's brightness reflecting off the mugs nearby,
I am standing still in this light,

I close my eyes and begin to wonder,
Where would I be without this family?
Where would I go without this roof?
Putting my own world into perspective,

I bring myself back to earth,
So that I may be the best person I can be,
And hopefully just might make your day a little better.

I want happiness for others if I cannot have it,
I want peace for beings if I cannot have it,
I want beauty for them if I cannot have it.

So that I may be happy,
For this moment,
In unison,
With them.

At the End of the Road

At the end
I am there
At the end
We are there

Despite the darkness
In unity, we strive
Despite the stillness
In vain, we're alive

In a deep sleep
Hopefulness
In a dark street
Calmness

At the end
I am there
At the end
They all stare

In life,
We will fly
And in death
The plight is nigh

The Salvation

Space is infinate,
we are but a tiny speck of nothing,
a little poof of dust in the galaxies,
but you cannot accept that,
a God must be up there,
waiting for your arrival.

Heaven is not waiting,
There is no hell,
death is there,
as a deep darkness with no end.

For it is like sleep only 10 times better,
Jesus did not come when he was told to,
because he is long gone,
into the dark peace.

It is like Santa but for adults,
so they can dream of a land where no corruption exist,
If a god loved us all,
he would have ended us long ago,

If Jesus really loved us,
wouldn't he have saved us all those years ago,
For we are suffering,
through chaos, corruption, and violence.

The bible was created by only a man who wished for fortune in his hands,
A attention seeking priest,
soaked in gold,
A passing pope,
who learns the secret of life,

If God is real,
then show him to me,
if God is real,
where is he now,
If God is real,
Where was he then,
If God is real,
then we are all dead.

Daddy

I'm falling through the earth,
Another maladjusted birth of a lost soul,

Daddy went to war and never came back,
He was shot down by the cruelty of the western world,

They told me he went to special place,
but I know,
He's got a bullet in his head while rotting in the dirt,

Mommy's on the floor again,
in a pool of fluid,
Why can't this go away?

Why must we be in war because of some god in the sky?
My friend died today,
his mommy hid him in the closet as soldiers rushed in,
Shot dead.

They were all,
Shot dead.

I'm crying under the bed,
Mommy's not home yet,
I hear them marching now,
Killing everyone dead.

Fighting for honor, blood, and glory.
Is it really worth it?
