At the End of the Road

At the end
I am there
At the end
We are there

Despite the darkness
In unity, we strive
Despite the stillness
In vain, we're alive

In a deep sleep
Hopefulness
In a dark street
Calmness

At the end
I am there
At the end
They all stare

In life,
We will fly
And in death
The plight is nigh
