The Man Underneath

Was it a dream of a run towards
The heavenly pleasure of my wants or
Was it a sight of eternal freedom.
I would ask you.

It was a moment of truth you replied
There was a smile and gratitude on my face
For the reason you helped me.
I desire the joy you got by helping me.

I sailed the oceans and wandered the land
I flew the air and enquired the trees
The only answer I got was to make,
“The Man Underneath”. “The Man Underneath”

I wandered again, about that mysterious man.
Who lay somewhere unknown to the wind and water
And to the soil and light. It was never a surprise,
Because he was, “The Man Underneath”.

I was not contented and happy because,
I never got my happiness and so did
I decide to touch the horizon so far,
I couldn't see it.

I sailed and flew but never reached
And then, he did tell me that,
The horizon was like the way for the answer.
I was confused and sleepy to continue my journey.

A light fell on me saying that,
I was imprisoned by the worldly pleasures,
I had to break out of the prison
And start walking with perception.

I was enlightened and started my journey,
To find the man underneath who was
Sailing far and wide away from me.
I never gave up and moved towards him.

It was a matter of time when I found,
That the inner self was “The Man Underneath”.
And he was striving for eternal freedom.
“The Man Underneath” was in me.

Making me search for him far and wide
To get the joy that I wanted and also,
I would realise that I give freedom to,
“The Man Underneath”.

The Truth of Lies

It was away and far
Unknown and not lived
Ugly and dusty.
But, beautiful when seen

It was never looked upon
Because, it is the truth
It may cause a wound
And can be cured

Hiding is what is done
And forgotten is pretending
It pricks up every moment
But, it is ignored

Living dead is preferred
Because, lies are prescribed
Sleep well in the coffin
And never to wake up.

Thus, became the relative
Of the devil, away or within
But, the devil of lies
Offers the best

Accept the offer from
And be gone forever
Can never be recovered
Unless woken up.

Woken up from the coffin
Because, I was alive
A bit of life still wandered
It was magic, I believe

It came from within me
For, that small piece was untouched
It was that purest piece of truth
That, everything has.

Maybe unannounced now
But someday explodes off
That day gives a glimpse
Of what you are

Body is sometime a lie
Soul within is the truth
Soul is the life
And truth is living

The Swing of the Soul

There was this swing, for which;
The hanger were the clouds,
Swivel the breeze and the chain was love.
Swayed upon that, two hearts and a soul.

Fearless and blissful, where;
Time had no meaning in their eyes.
Where differences had no space,
The whole existence of their’s was each other.

Their dream held their lives,
And their lives flowered joy.
These flowers danced down to the ground.
And grew up to be trees with swings.

The sway of those swings,
Seemed to be the enchanted dance of love.
But the minds those lived in that garden,
Seemed to be afraid of its sway.

The minds that yielded doubts and greed,
The minds that yielded possession and lust,
The minds that owned supremacy and anger,
The minds that forgot their quiddity.

Though the essence of life,
Was always around them;
Their eyes couldn’t witness this bliss.
For, all that they saw in the path was fear.

And in the end when their walls cracked;
Those tired eyes looked up to that soul.
And wished to have got on to that swing,
And sway without boundaries;
Sway trough their mistakes and imperfections.
With the grace of joy and mercy onto themselves.

And hoped to be blessed,
With an other life to sway on that swing in their garden.
A life of purity;
Where the mind becomes the heart filled with the dance of love.
And the soul within the heart,
Seeks that infinite soul beyond the skies.
