I Want To Kiss You

I want to kiss you
Your lips send endless invitation,
And I crave the sweetness therein,
For It is like the honey that flows from the vineyards of timnah.

I want to kiss you.
I desire to wipe every gloss on your lip with the gusto of my tongue.
The parting of your lips is like the road between the red Sea,
And I want to walk in there. I wouldn't mind if I still manage to drown.

I want to kiss you
With my hands holding your symmetric hips,
Teeth smashing teeth,
Tongue greeting tongue,
And our lips embracing each other in no particular rhythm.

I want to kiss you
The softness of your lips reminds me of your heart - how soft and kindhearted you are.
The whiteness of your teeth reminds me the purity of your love.
But the whole of you is the definition of my cravings.

I want to kiss you,
But that is not all I want.
I want all of you.

The Second Coming

Before morning, there was moaning
Smearing the innocence of the night,
With two bodies entwined,
To cause havoc
Absent conscience,
Absent worries,
No thoughts,
Just sounds,
Gasps,
And then snaps
Coming together in harmony
With shivering waists,
Stiffened necks
Determined legs,
No regards to shame.
The night just couldn’t wait.
For the coming of the morning
Is around the corner,
Too.

The Other Room

I belong to you,
And nobody else.
Ages, I was bought with the price of your beauty
That revels without any 'but'
To gratify your will.
Now I stand, a loyal fool
Your devoted slave.

I am condemned to bow
Mornings at your gate.
At your sanctuary will I worship
Daily.
In your tabernacle will I dwell
To serve. Worship and adore.

I have seen the other room
The chamber of that mighty woman,
Even the queen of Persia.

I have beheld the other room.
The inner place where she lays
Oh, that fairest among women.

I know that other room
The secret place of that goddess
Whose breasts tastes like honey.

But no other place do I long to be.
Neither paradise, nor hades
Neither palace of mighty kings,
Nor chambers of beauty queens.
Neither company of mighty gods
Nor the dwelling of mean men.

Nay!
No other room has my place
For your very own room,
I am doomed.

Use me.

I Am

I am the only wine
Strong enough to make you blotto,
The only cure to your illness.
I know thou art mighty and strong
    Only because I am here,
    For you. With you.
And only I, could be the reason
    You are weak, again.
Only I could make you whole
Even when I am the reason
    You need to be complete.

    I made you a fool,
But i am the only reason
    You are seen as sane.
I am your foolery, your wisdom

I am the one behind your breathing
    That counteracts rhythm.
    I am the only beauty
That can get you uglily insane.
    Into my eyes you look
    To be whole again.
But here I am; the only reason
    You ever needed healing.

Those Ones Over There

You see those ones,
Those ones over there?
With hunchbacks
And disfigured rears.
Those ones, who trampled
On our names and wouldn't care.
Those ones who were too big
To be called our peers.
They told us we knew nothing
That our brains were bare,
And even the mantle of their sandals
Was too much for us to bear.

You see those ones,
Those ones on their knees?
Defeated, humbled
And now reduced to pleas.
Those ones with scattered mouths
Having too many needs.
They told us our mountains we will never
Conquer, that we were destined for valleys
They said our fears we will never go past,
That with defeats we pally.
They said we were too dull, too young,
Too dumb to ever think we can make it.

You see them?
Over there they stand.
They have no place of abode
They now live in the sands.
And there they are, wanting to be pitied
And given helping hands.
Forgetting they once bragged we were nothing,
And we don't even deserve a chance.
They said we lacked the skills
And all our mistakes they sang.
Now they are back, playing the music of mercy,
Hoping we would dance.

But we over here,
We won't be like them.
We won't display teeth of mockery,
But project smiles of care.
We would say to those coming behind
They can skate ahead of their fears.
No, we won't ever tell them they can make it,
But sing it to them they can be the best.
We wouldn't tell them to concede defeats,
But teach how to kick challenges well
On the butt, and always saying to difficulties
With smiling faces, "we can always propel"

Saviour

I saw the little baby crying,
At the end of the road.
A group of saddened orphans
That don’t have where to go.
It was a night before I saw you with the Lady,
Whose skirt barely covered her thighs.
You two were standing beside a poor girl
Who pleads with her cries,
“Please be my saviour”
You opted to save your emotions instead
With kisses on the lady’s lips,
While the poor girl dies with a ‘saviour-need’.
How do you sleep while she dies?
How do you leave and still say good night?
What do you feel when you hear the needy cry?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?

Behind you is that family living in agony
They are all alone with no money.
Beside you a lonely boy cries
And all you could say is “I’m not your mommy!”
You disregarded the cries of the homeless
As a mere sensless noise.
Everywhere around, you could hear the cry,
“Please be my saviour”
But you opted to save your possession instead
As you passionately embrace your money;
Its yours and yours alone.
How do you sleep while they die?
How do you ignore the cries and still say goodbye?
What do you feel when you hear the needy cry?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?

Can’t we go back to the crying babies,
And wipe off their tears
With the palms of care?
Can’t we embrace the saddened orphans
And be their parents,
Their mentors?
Can’t we go back to the lonely boys,
And be a companion to them,
A friend?

So one day, when they can finally stand on their feet
they too can extend helping hands
To those who cry around them
“Please be our saviour”.

You Are Air

You have my heart
Yet, I struggle to have yours
In my hand.
Your touch awakens goosebumps
In every angle of me.
Yet, my hands cannot get a hold of you.

You are air. Yes.
So I would never have you
Wrapped In my arms
In the cold of night.

You are air. Yes.
I have stopped dreaming
Of you and I cuddled together in bed
When the Sun goes to sleep.

You are air. Trust me.
I will inhale too much of you
Inside, if I can;
That way, I can feel you
Running through my veins
In a romantic vein.

That way,
I will breath you
To live.
Even while I die
For your warm embrace.

You are air. Yes.
But I will never stop trying
To hold You in my arms
Till I am no more.
