Linda Williams Poem
The wolf and the bunny rabbit loved to meet for tea
Although they were a very odd pair
They enormously enjoyed each ohers company
The bunny rabbit was always a most gracious host
Whenever the wolf would come to call
Both lived by their wits
So there were conversations of survival concerning the great and small
"You know I've been thinking", said the wolf
"Yes", said the bunny rabbit all poised for flight
"How is it that you and I, after all this time?
Perhaps you could lend some insight"
"Well", said the bunny rabbit "I like you mostly cause your different
Your not at all like me
I greatly admire your fierceness and your heart
and you possess tremendous bravery"
"Thank you", said the wolf
"I too admire you very much as well"
"You do", said the bunny rabbit twitching its pink nose, "please tell, please tell"
"Well", said the wolf "unlike me you're very soft and cuddly
And most agreeable indeed
Moreover I always knew you would be there in my very special time of need"
"Ohhh you're not hungary are you", said the bunny rabbit sounding just a bit
alarmed
"No, no", said the wolf "it's not at all like that
Once again I've been misunderstood, oh darn"
"You know a wolf gets lonely especially seperate from the pack
But all my life it has worked that way
Most have been afraid of me I have that special knack
Sometimes lonliness a hunger of heart
Tends to change true nature and set differences apart
The difference in you was the attraction for me
For you see dear bunny rabbit
You were the only one of many in my wilderness who took the time for tea"

Linda Williams Poem
He said all he wanted was her smile
So she offered it up and gave it away all the while
The tears fell knowing he would never give it back again
RAGE to find the stolen smile became the quest
The ultimate test of the badest and best days of her life
Mile after mile she searched everywhere for her stolen smile
In this place and that face nothing could erase
Not being able to do what was such a natural thing
Then it occurred to her one day
After her long journey had nearly swept her away
That she in part was reaping what she had sown
But the poor thief had stolen her smile
For he had none of his own

Linda Williams Poem
She is young and lithe and tall
But most importantly of all
BLONDE
A natural wonder to herself
For anyone can plainly see
As she struts and parades
Envading your space
She has arrived
Seemingly unaware of anothers pre sense
Her view is obstructed due to the height of her head
You as a fool is her favorite sport
The man in her life to be sure at times wishes he or she were dead
Empty little goddess
Not yet filled with the lessons which life will teach
If lucky enough to survive the pruning after her face meets the concrete
There will be new eyes to see
Another like she at 23
As I gaze in her mirror from twice her age
Who is it I see looking back
Why it's me

Linda Williams Poem
I said goodbye to yet another thing today
And I know you didn't want to go
Holding fast until the very last
Such a deeply rooted part of me
I so desperately wanted you to stay
It was not the pain you caused
But vanity the reason for my grief
For when you left you stole my smile
Aided by the dentist whose proven to be a most masterful thief
So I will miss you until you are replaced
Forever different yet soon to be the same
A foreign imitator for the money
Will re-illuminate my face
