Take My Body

I saw you on that white bed
You looked so beautiful with eyes close
A lot of vines attached to your head
You seemed so comfortable, I supposed

I sat next to you on a vacant space
You were peacefully sleeping still
I held your hand and caressed your face
I know or may not know how you feel

You opened your eyes and looked at me
I smiled so wide and said “Hi”
To be with you is all I want to be
But you kept on bidding your goodbye

I can see your pain but there’s nothing I can do
You said how much you love me
And God knows how much I love you too
Please, take my body. Just take my body.
My constant cry.

For My Beloved Child

I promise
I got you forever
I promise
To be the one fighting
No matter what
No matter who
I promise
Even in the darkest times
You will always find light
I will never go out of sight
I will be your Mother
I can be your Father
You will never be like them
You will not feel lonely
You will not feel something is missing
You will have a home with a complete family
I promise
I will never run like a coward dog
I promise
You will have a place where you belong
It is exhausting
It is draining
But I promise
I will never give up
Your smell
Your cries
Your smiles
Every poop
Every burp
Every touch
Your whole you
Your soul
You, my love
Are my greatest strength
I have never been in love with someone like this before
And I will love you more and more

I Love You

I love your grumpiness
I love your mood swings
I love your stubbornness
I love your voice when you sing
I love the way your silence is killing me
I love the way your rants are giving me chills
I love how you scolded me when you're mad
I love how your face looks like when you're pissed
I love it when you're keeping up with my childishness
I love it when you're clenching your fist out of anger
I love it when you told me about your likes
I love it when you told me about your dislikes
I love it when you told me about your story
I love how you kissed me
I love how you hugged me
I love how you carried me
I love how you caressed me
I love it when you ignore me
I love how it hurts
I love it that I miss you
I love it that I love you
I love you.

Life It Is

Sometimes my mind is as empty as the blue sky
Sometimes my thoughts are as heavy as the gloomy clouds
Sometimes my soul is as fierce as the sun's cry
Sometimes my life is as complicated as the rocky grounds

The Moonlight Lovers

They have waited for days for this time to come
As they always do
They made the most out from the tired sun
As they feel it's true
They feel like they're alone in the world
Care less of the noises around
Talking about life, boring and bold
Everything in between of the deafening sound
After an hour or more of drama
They're now sharing a bed that feels like sauna
Laughing and teasing each other's nonsense
Like it all makes perfect sense
Now, the saddest part has arrived
It will now fetch the time they rented
How long will they survive
How far they will be tormented
As the sun began to gain its strength
As the roosters started whining
The pinching rays started to stretch its length
And so they do start the unwinding
Of those deep unexplainable feelings
They will now again face the reality
That they exist in the nothingness
They are back again to their inevitability
They will now have to feel unhappiness
Again and again and again

One black candle
Was lighted up
Untitled label
The sweet scent of lavender
With fresh mint in a cup
The half moon shines
Its soft rays dashing through
Lighting up just fine
Over the blinds of the window
They brightened up the faces
Of these two moonlight lovers
Enjoying each others silent stares
Wishing the night will never be over
But one has to bid goodbye
Even if the moon is not tired yet
One is left with teary eye
Trying not to covet
To beg to stay or to fly
It's sad
Heartbreaking
Sucks so bad!
The stars won't stop crying
And they both smell
That aroma from the morning
The piano songs are now turned off
Back to the white pillow, so soft
'till next time and long wait
Goodnight!

Take Me

Oh dear ol' reaper come to me
Fetch me like everyone else
I'm too tired
I'm done
I want to rest
I want to run
This urge is like a burning fire
Please hear me and let all this be done

Greetings

It's getting near
The end of the year
Yet I still can't hear
The sound of the beating

I've not heard of you
Can we undo
And restart, too
We can change everything

It's been a while
Still makes me smile
When I walked down that aisle
Memories, slowly fading

I wish when the year ends
We can still spend
Time together without pretend
Hopelessly praying

But if not though
I will move on nice and slow
I guess, not all show
Is a happy ever after ending

And I will pray
That somehow, someday
We'll meet along the way
Tap each other simple greetings

After all, we met at hi and hello

Surrender

And in the twilight we meet
All the pains we retreat
Against all odds down that street
Let us accept our defeat

Love is not ours to keep

Afternoon Thoughts On December 22nd

You see
I'm unable to fathom what you did and you said
I saw love but I felt pain
And for years on the presence of others
It's all the same
Confidently you uttered the words of assurance
"I'm different from them. I am not like them."
And of course my heart danced
As I remember those moments
I listened to the pounding inside our chests
Echoed in the air of silence
I resent the lost chances
I should've shouted
Loud and clear what I really felt
It could've gone off easily if I did, maybe
If you heard my cries
You could've apologised
Or will you apologise?
For you to ask forgiveness
Is my hope for vengeance

You Are

You are the light of the edges
You are the salt of the river
You are the flower of the desert
You are the pillow of the chair
You are the colour of the water
You are the lace of the slippers
You are the ink of the pencil
You are the coolness of the sun
You are the warmth of the snow
You are a gift from God.
You are a woman.
