The Wandering Times

We could live through the hardest,
The time of our lives,
Then go out to bars
And give the best advice.
Maybe live to grow old,
Watch the times fly by.
Or see little of life,
And be young as we die.

No matter the cost
I will stay by your side.
This thing we call life,
Oh, try us, it might.
The times that we live in
They keep shooting us down.
It seems that they feel
They don’t want us around.

Promise Me

The one who could hold me.
My only rhapsody
Don’t rob me of those notes.
Don’t tear from us this hope.
Don’t smear our names in blood.
And watch us as our faces fall.

Doors are closing.
Ashes, ashes.

Let me see your smile.
Tell me you’ll try
Give me the strength to fight this war.
‘Cause I can’t do it alone.

I break down for you
Tell me, do you break too?
Two girls, snapping in the dark side of life
Taking each tiny step together
Racing to the edge
The edge of this blade
To the edge of our deaths.

Doors have closed
Ashes, ashes.

Let me see you smile.
Tell me you won’t die
Give me the strength to fight through.
‘Cause I can’t do it without you too
Without you too
Without you too

The Phoenix

The Phoenix

The phoenix it flew
it arose from the ashes
of lives long past.
The flame burst out
crying truths
Calling out
“Gin melathon an-uir”

The gift of life
said crashed through death
As many had fallen
this single had prevailed
Calling out
“Gin melathon an-uir”

The grief of few
Impairs not this one
the fire of joy and love
Had not heed of terror
The phoenix calling out
“Gin melathon an-uir”

Unspoken Dream

When the nighttime dims
And the leaves glow gold
When the world seems magical to me
We’ll stare through the limbs
Of a century old,
Proud, defiant ash tree

You turn
The light catches your face
Your smile delves into my soul
You burn
Beauty shining at astounding pace
Possessing no true goal

We rush through the trees
Not a care in the world
And land abreast the wild birds
We laugh into the breeze
Daring the story be told
Such a tale will never be heard

Watch, don’t fall
Feel the salmon swim upstream
And see us step across rivers unseen
Look up to mountains tall
And lay down in this living dream

We’ll stare into the waters
Just as we did in those days
Don’t let the current take you
Two pale forest’s daughters
Never heeding time’s delays
As I burn too

We rush through the trees
Not a care in the world
And land abreast the wild birds
We laugh into the breeze
Daring the story be told
Such a tale will never be heard

Transgender

“Who are you?” The boy asked
“Who am I?” replied the girl
This one’s masked
Living a lie, precious pearl

Don’t speak
Don’t breathe
Don’t look

“Please, please don’t leave”

Someone’s dying
Here in this world
Lies to the living
Keeping “his” wings furled

She wants to speak
She wants to breathe
She wants to be seen

But she’ll live how they want
She’ll wither and die
She’ll see the cruelties of truth
And hide from the light

Little To All

Little to All

The petals of this delicate flora
Go unto thee,
As the heart betrays all sense.

This form of other claims much,
Forming a wall
Little to all

Mine fathers doth shiver,
At such foolish love
Many do find us wanting

In our youth, we sacrifice
As the eldest greet us not
Little to all

We are granted our misery
Which we go with willingly,
Alas, at crossroads, we whom part
Do so with lacking dignity.

We go with none
As we realize our folly
Great as the remains of our love
Little to some, perhaps.

Those that urge us apart,
They feel not our hearts
The foolish, abandonment of mind.
Little to us.
Great only to they.

Mind of the Jester

Who do I greet in the hour of might
Who do I call with my knife in the night
When do I watch as they they fall to their knees
Well anytime, says I; that is, if you please.
How do I give to darkness of mind
With dagger and ladder; up I had climbed
what do I say to the madness within
"Coming Mother", and so I did end
To the Void and Sithis all do bend.

Late Nights, Awake

My hands are cold
My eyes are empty
The lines are bold
But I deserve no pity

Watch her cry
See her shatter
Let her die
Little star, scatter

Whore, slut, bitch
Lower your head
Tear every stitch
We all want you dead

The Willow and the Widow

Watch her live
Let her die
Hear her doubt
There’s nothing you’d give
Not to hear her sigh
Or your name cry out

Up the rosebush
Through the leaves
Down through thorns
She needs a push
Through green veiled willow’s eaves
Where the widow mourns

Closer

We’re one step closer
Watching the lights
Talking to the sky
Closer to the edge
We’ll never have our closure
Falling from these heights
With dark birds flying by
As we made a sacred pledge

And even though I’ll miss you
I’ll walk away this time
Because we were beautiful
And beauty never ends
You’ll miss me too
But you’ll turn on a dime
Because you are beautiful
And beauty always bends
