The Willow and the Widow

Watch her live
Let her die
Hear her doubt
There’s nothing you’d give
Not to hear her sigh
Or your name cry out

Up the rosebush
Through the leaves
Down through thorns
She needs a push
Through green veiled willow’s eaves
Where the widow mourns
