Promise Me

The one who could hold me.
My only rhapsody
Don’t rob me of those notes.
Don’t tear from us this hope.
Don’t smear our names in blood.
And watch us as our faces fall.

Doors are closing.
Ashes, ashes.

Let me see your smile.
Tell me you’ll try
Give me the strength to fight this war.
‘Cause I can’t do it alone.

I break down for you
Tell me, do you break too?
Two girls, snapping in the dark side of life
Taking each tiny step together
Racing to the edge
The edge of this blade
To the edge of our deaths.

Doors have closed
Ashes, ashes.

Let me see you smile.
Tell me you won’t die
Give me the strength to fight through.
‘Cause I can’t do it without you too
Without you too
Without you too
