Whore of Babylon

Scarlet colored beauty
She is raised above the masses
A crowd ride
Riding the waves of many waters
Which are peoples and multitudes and nations
Drunk on the wine of fornication
Arms outstretched
Head banging to the beat
Fists raised
Orgasms flowing
Full Body Release
She just needs the music to feel it.
The energy of the bodies around her
Adding to her experience
Burning in this house of Rock and Roll
The smoke of her fire shall burn
Forever and Ever.
Sacrilicious and Salacious
The Whore of Babylon
She gives birth to all our desires
Born of a womb filled with lust
Delivering us all from salvation
One sin at a time
Sparkling on her body like a gemstone
Glittering and twinkling
Reflecting our fornications
Blinding us into submission
Bowing down in a wave of blasphemy
She rides the waves of many waters
Drunk on the blood of saints and martyrs
Rock and Roll playing forever and ever.

Blue Eyes

a distant flickering
like looking through curtains
to see the flame of a candle

I could hear her
a woman’s voice rising and falling with passion
in a harmonious round with the falling rain
the pitter pats and scat calling out with the blues

dragging her mouth across the streets
steaming with streams of backed-up sewers
her lips gathering glass and gravel

she took it in and this bilge billowed forth with the blues
a heavy sound that was laden with
the burden of an unrequited life

rising and falling she carried me too
through the story and I rode with her
my heart careening and crashing

full speed into crystal and china
chipping and cracking and splintering
gathering under my fingernails and glittering in my hair

my face dripping from my tears cried
as I hear her lament

the rising and falling of the curtains
blowing in the breeze and the rain was poured
from rusty buckets of her blues and
she sings to me so sweet
like succulent splooge that seeps from me and

I lie on the floor soaked and tattered
just because we looked into each others' eyes.

The Way To Go

The road follows me
Pushes me from behind
It’s finger in my ass.
I see the orange melting to black
My horizon shooting out yellow rays
Showing me the path
Where to go next
Nothing around me
Just some broken matches, broken cigarettes and broken dreams.
Left my possessions, my image
Their expectations behind me.
I could throw my wallet out the window right now
Pay for the trip with my heart
A heart of gold and a spirit of steel
My properties, possessions for the rest of my life
Show me the road.
It’s got an honest face
Nothing to hide.
I see a reflection of death.
It mocks and entices me
Alluring and antagonizing.
An accident in the ditch is there for everyone to see.
Stare deep and hard.
Feel how close the destruction is
How it taunts you.
Taste it, let it flavor your life.
Don’t fear it.
The darkness of the road
Embraced by the night.
My car hugs the road
Loving it, knowing the curves.
I barely touch the wheel.
I just let it glide along.
Going my way. The way of my heart.
Nothing to stop me now.
Whether the ride ends in
The ditch, in paradise, or where my wallet lies.
The truth is before me.
Black as night.
Fate putting it’s finger in my ass
Pushing me forward.

The Truth and a Dare

Do you like the mess I’ve made?
My cheap clothes, my charcoaled eyes,
My bedraggled dreams and
The rage I drown every night.

I try to convey my constant cravings with
Little ditties and pretty stockings,
But who out there can see, hear and comprehend?

I lay out my heart like a red, wet stain
Soiling the carpet, ready for anyone
Who passes by to spit, stomp and piss.

No one dares stare, lest they may care and
Think for a moment about me.
Who am I to admit I’m afraid of the coming day
And whether or not you’ll notice I’m there.

The lining has run from my eyes
Down to my breasts that throb and heave
From the absence of a hand.

I try to say that any will do, but
What I need is a touch that reaches through, and
Keeps me quivering and writing and yet
Knowing the lingering will leave.

This is the mess that I keep within me.
You can see it if you look deep enough
Into my eyes, but already it’s spread and
Lies underneath.
Dark, shadowed and powdered over.

Who out there will dare to stare to get to know me.
But, how dare I let you know as I feel you
Spit, stomp and piss and keep walking on by.

Diving

I dive into you
feeling the warm water
your embrace
waves coming in all directions
from your eyes, arms, legs, lips
covering my body, my hair floating
your voice, words, music,
surrounding me in sound,
exhilaration, serenity,
opening my eyes, underwater,
infinite distance
sunshine, dancing across every surface
swimming deep, reaching out
wanting to see all of you
every shadow and entity
exploring, comforted, excited
I dive into you
and feel your embrace
