Kathie Shank Poem
I was the picture
In a frame
A tornado moved
Me from the wall
Though my framework
Is bent and dented
I smile throughout
It all.
I was the picture
In a frame
Raging floods
Carried me away
My framework
Swelled and molded
Still my smile
it did not sway
One day the sun
Came shining through
Reflection fades to
Transparency
The effigy truly
Peeled and torn
IT WASN'T ME!

Kathie Shank Poem
One tiny drop, vulnerable
Evaporation possible
Accumulation masterful
Raging wall ,mountain moving
Energy eased
Calm, life giving.

Kathie Shank Poem
In the house of broken dreams
Window panes are made of tears
And the paper on the wall
Draws the picture of my fears
It's a never place to be
Broken pieces line the floor
The hopes that now once were
Turn to mist forever more.
Time to leave those dreams so cherished
In old visions far behind
To bravely seek the new, the real
And healthy faith in what I'll find
Let go, let God, move on
Ahead toward what as yet may be
And with the passing old to new
Build a house called Me.

Kathie Shank Poem
Where am I looking?
Beyond this minute
Beyond this action
Beyond your face
Where am I moving?
Beyond this minute
Beyond this action
Beyond your face
Where is my future?
Beyond this minute
Beyond this action
Beyond your face
Tomorrow , I will look at you
Tomorrow , I will move toward you
Tomorrow , I will be with you
Hey , where did you go?
