If Tomorrow

If tomorrow were to start without me and I wasn't there to show you my love.
Always know how much you meant to me, just look for me shining in the stars above.
If tomorrow were to start without me and you could no longer hear my laugh.
Always remember our treasured moments, please seek comfort that this was my destined path.
If tomorrow were to start without me and no longer my hands could you hold.
Always cherish our times together, for those memories are forever yours to be told.
So if the sun rises slowly one morning and I am no longer there to be by your side... Please have faith I will always walk with you, as sure as the continual ebb and flow of the tide.

Transformation

I have crawled so close to the ground, where nobody notices me.. Just biding my time quietly, until I can finally fly free.
I am silently gaining my strength, until I can hide and grow.... To be unassuming doesn't make me weak, we are just waiting for my courage to show.
The cocoon I will build around me, will shield me from their attack... Once I am fully transformed, I will fly away and never look back.
When I am ready and strong, I will leave my safety, and break through the walls of this prison cell... For no other can keep my wings clipped, I will at last be free from this hell.
For the caterpillar will always grow their wings, to become a beautiful butterfly.... I just need to keep believing in the future, then one day I will soar in the sky.

Heal and Mend

My wish for you is happiness, may your smiles always be true.
My hope for you is freedom, to always see your hopes and dreams through.
My want for you is to believe, that you are important to yourself and others.
My dream for you is to feel no fear or sadness, lean on each other like sisters or brothers.
My need for you is to know your strength, it will always guide you on.
My belief for you is in true courage, even in the dark hold out your hands and each other lean on.
My vision for you is healing, the power is often in your hands.
My understanding for you is love, just call out when you feel yourself sinking in the sands.
These are my wishes for you, in me you will always find a friend... Just lets take care of each other and together, we can truly begin to heal and mend.

Just Call For Me

If you ask for me to hold you, I will be there through the night.
If you look for me to guide you, I will try with all my might.
If you crawl to me when you've fallen, I will pull you to your feet.
If you scream for me in sorrow, I will not let you admit defeat.
If you come to me in your darkness, I will lead you to the light.
If you beckon me when you are sinking, I will show you how to fight.
If you shout for me when drowning, I will show you how to swim
If you call to me when failing, I will not let your spirit dim.
If you ever need me tell me, I will always be by your side... For I am your friend and supporter and I will willingly be your guide.

Lost Hope

When I look into the mirror, what do I see? I see a stranger staring back at me.
Gone are those eyes that used to sparkle with fun... Now I see darkness, my demons have won.
Those hours spent crying have taken their toll... I stopped looking for saving, now just a failing soul.
My smile is weary, it never reaches my eyes... I still practice with those muscles, they are my trusty disguise.
Who am I kidding, for the truth is plain to see... It doesn't take a detective to see the pain within me.
Nobody wants to know though, the suffering in my heart... For if you ask me those questions, you will have to then be a part.
The danger is now 'passed', my healing should begin... So why am I imprisoned, why should they win.
My laughter is hollow, I hear the pain as I joke... The truth is too dangerous, there is never fire without smoke.
How can I solve this mystery, somebody give me a clue... For without another's soft guidance, I believe my hope is now through.

Lessons

My story isn't over, for my journey has just begun.
I can no longer sit in silence, so watch out this 'victims' done.
My past won't shape my future, it's time to stand and hold up my head high.
I'm so 'over' crawling quietly, I deserve to soar and fly.
My past will never vanish, but it's given me the strength to stand.
For courage isn't about perfection, it's about dealing with our given hand.
My voice will no longer hide the truth, so please ask and I will tell.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sometimes it takes a nightmare, to escape the hell.
My purpose is becoming clearer, I have a chance to stand up tall and fight.
For when you are frightened and cowering in the darkness, you must get up and walk towards the light.
My future isn't promised to be easy, however without the struggles there can be no sense of peace.
So when tomorrow I begin to waver, please remind me of these 'lessons', that will steady me beneath.
