A River In My Mind

There's a river, she flows inside my mind.
Drowning me in questions, answers I must find.
She's peaceful at times, steady gentle stream,
Just sending messages, whispers in a dream.
Curious to play in it, cuz it's so clear and blue,
Small little thought hints, what should I do.
Other days though, she rises, waters overflowing,
Drops self defense, those old scars start showing.
Water rising higher, to a depth too far to see,
Lost in unquenched desires, that river, she drowns me.
Each time I dive, the bottom of her I'd try to find.
Lucky I'm alive, over her corral walls I'd climb.
Never have I achieved it, locating the thought river's core.
Each time that I'd believed it, false bottom reveals even more.
Overwhelmed, I am forced to submit and just sink.
Die once more, in this river that fuels my ink.
Last Breath, boiling water filled misery,
Leaking out in small droplets, from the eyes of me.
Then, Once again, her Tides always subside.
Born again, at her streams; peace at my side.
There on her shores, we'd begin this cycle once more
Or so, it's the usual, but, this day I'm not sure.
This day her tides are high and my, how they rage.
She's roaring like a beast, ripping out of its cage.
The boulders upon her once peace banks,
Looks as though they've been blasted by tanks.
Now just pebbles, they too will drown.
As the river today, washes away solid ground.
I fear her, oh, but I'm mad at her too!
I'm running straight in, No plan of what to do.
She's roared in my head, for the very last time!
I'm diving head first, answers I will find.
If I climb out again, If i outlast her great raging flood,
my friends, know I'll be covered in tears of red blood
So when you see me laying there, upon her shore.
Go on about your day, complete your daily chores.
I'll survive the red stains, the cuts so very deep.
I'll Lay here and heal, while the river peacefully creeps

Silent Echoes of a Heart

Happiness and hope, on that days rainy start,
Excited waddling Mommy, awaiting the sound of a heart.
When silent echoes came, heard my heart shatter,
Sinking in it's void, lacking the one that mattered.
The medical walls, were closing in on me,
Lights all got dim, it was too hard to see,
Tears filling the hallway, making life all a blur,
Falling to my knees, last chance to cradle her.
Never had I knew her, now she's already gone,
Black hole inside of me, I'll never move on.
Angels sing lullabies, to one who only ever slept,
Another denied mother cries, for someone she's never met.
The Lord gave what wasn't given, a hole inside of me.
Mourning the loss of a life, that wasn't meant to be

Dear God Help Me Forgive You

Dear God, please forgive me, for being reluctant to fall on these sinners knees,
while following your own words, I've done forsaken me.
You said to be submissive, as a good christian wife.
I done that through and through, it ruined my life.
You see, I get it if you won't hear me, i can't blame you.
But why would you lead me, to do things you don't want me to.
If I honor your wishes, by honoring this man,
Could you give forgiveness, would you understand.
Its a strange life to lead. And i am nearly fed up.
In the Bible that I read, I still feel really stuck.
Because you say somethings, about how whores burn.
Questions that does bring, when the page I turn.
Be submissive to your husbands, the way we are with Christ.
But what if the husband, request a higher price.
See... There's my confusion, for I do love you so,
Is his love all a delusion, is it a sin to let him go?
I don't want to be like this, I don't want to feel such shame,
My own soul I really miss, Since I changed my last name.
I am scared God, I know I said some foul things to you.
I'm not prepared, to survive the things he has me do.
I don't want to hurt him, you said I should submit,
I don't want to live in sin,... What would you say if I just quit?
I keep listening to my consciousness, its going back in forth,
I am seeking your forgiveness, as a submissive wife with no worth.
I don't mean to sound bitter Lord, I worship none above you,
I just don't want to be a quitter, But, I don't know what else to do.

Dance With This Gypsy

Twirling like a gypsy,
Dancing by a fire,
Music comes to carry me,
Heated by desire.
Long gaze of my brown eyes,
Turning green within the flame,
My thirst for you can't be disguised,
Wanna hear you moan my name.

The music plays,
I spin around,
Moonlight on this stage.

My hips sway,
You're coming over now,
In this dance you now engage

Violinist seems distracted,
The guitarist carries through,
As Magnetic field, all attracted,
The stars gaze in awe of you.

Iris to iris,
Hips to hips,
Leaning in but withholding kiss,
Only my breath ever touches your lips.

Dance with me lover,
Feel my being inside of yours,
Without touching, you'll discover,
I've captured you to your core.

Our Pounding hearts,
Provide the final drums beat,
crowd held us as lovers,
 they're all shocked now.

Despite allure, we pull apart,
One last deep breath of heat.
Temptations tango now is over,
As, this gypsy takes a bow

Fly On Black Raven

It doesn't matter,
We were never friends.
Steel heart don't shatter,
All good things must end.

Sure gonna miss you,
The ecstasy in your touch,
I'll find others to get me through,
Maybe learn love exist or such.

Fly away raven,
Don't dare look down on me,
Your lust it felt like Heaven,
Feathers blackened by misery.

It doesn't matter,
We weren't ever friends,
Your steel heart can't shatter,
 all good things must end.
