Depersonalization

It’s funny when it happens,
Out of the blue like thin air,
Once the kettle starts purring,
It’s like your not even there.
You hear the noise,
Then separate,
Before you know it,
You feel the connection start to dissipate.
Louder and louder it starts to buzz,
But the crowd ain’t aware,
You’ve left because,
When the hive starts to raise,
While disregarding your song,
The sentiments of yesterday,
can seem long gone,
And nothing seems all that’s left,
When they leave you,
And neglect to see you ,
Walking that fine line and holding on.
And all you’re left in is a sweet desperation
Of humble serenity to anything or anyone
Even if its just a temporary patch sewn on.
The wound is still there,
And it’s a disdain performance gone wrong.
And these dirty dishes just can’t wait,
while the rest of you go on,
cause this fantasy world isn’t real to me while feeling like
a cast off soul within the person.
The feeling of being surrounded by life,
But locked in a spiritual prison,
And its tunnel vision can’t fix the equation
Its amazing the life long maze you can go in
If the wound within hasn’t done its healin,
It would be a miracle to live this life,
and not in its third person.
Because from up here,
I can’t feel what my heart feels,
and these forcefilled tendencies start to act,
when you’ve been surviving a crocodile past….

I Used To Be Special

I used to be special,
Now I’m just me,
Once believed in fate and goodness,
Instead just a pie in the sky.
A fool’s paradise,
Misconceived with empty promises,
Bright eyed and smiles,
Deprived and beguiled
Living a masquerade ball,
Disguised in what everyone else wants me to be.
Once kindred in time,
This family of mine,
Immodest and forthright,
Became this neglectful stoic tribe
It’s their family they must tend to,
Godforsaken,
Originatin’ back to me.
My anger withheld by absolution,
For they know not what they do,
A life lesson they’ll learn eventually.
Friends just stay a while,
Until the novelty wears,
Just the facts of life,
Season’s change,
Once birds of a feather
Forge on,
La parade nuptiale cède
Summon those birds and bees,
For the love they nestled themselves in,
Riveted them to be swallowed in the sea.
Can’t blame them, ‘cause sometimes,
The honey can be tantalizing,
For I harbor a tooth that savors this sweet reverie.
It’s their life they must live, not mine,
Differently,
I imagined mine would be,
A love spell turned spell bound,
Forced me to see
L'importance de l'amour de soi
A.L.O.N.E
The ability to unveil what once was special
Is in fact, extraordinary.

Excuse Me Operator

Excuse me operator,

I think I’ve been disconnected,

To a neurotic world that's seemed to lose its senses,

A ceaseless quest of life questions,

Where are all of these transcending fairytales and esoteric answers?

I am feeling like it’s a foreboding leak of subliminal messages,

Declaring all what life isn’t and it's misleading specifications.

Just a strategic game of sacrifice and persistence

Life is more like blindfolded presentiments.

With an apprehensive state of mind I can’t find any logical explanations.

Take me to another place, cuz I feel like I’m more arrested than developing,

And I’d prefer to forget all that hurts me, and attain a stronger grasp of the Divine plan.

If it were up to me, I’d allow the pure of heart to do the master’n,

What seems to be a theatrical script, instead reveals a fabricated life,

I guess that’s why I’ve been burned,

Playing with fire one too many times.

It hasn’t fueled any of my desires,

I'd rather discover how to rise above being any less than what I have been.

I seem to lose sight from time to time, it’s ok there’s so much that I’ve got planned,

A little help here is what I'd prefer, rather than be left to sufferin’

Anticipating any offering of alms or beneficence

Relying on what draws near and dear to me

Solely, my proof has only summoned wolves veiled in sheep's clothing,

The weapons of my war aren’t meant to wound, hurt, or destroy,

Rather make it my mission’s to be a fisher of men.

For me, triumphing over tragedy only works

If it utterly relies on the Codes of Compassion.

Stillness of heart is what conquers the reckless mind

It’s by remaining fixed on the calm when you are amidst the storm

Because at times beauty can be clouded by dissonance

It's humility that transforms best.

Truth be told, our hearts connect on a higher level,

It’s the Heart of the Matter where one should revel

Existentially, its aspiring to higher realms that exposes such Cosmic clarity,

And we are all made of stars, and I have one I know looking out for me.

Aware that only a selective few have this Vision of Totality.

I pray for a truth and total understanding,

Some much needed justification please for the paradox we’re living in.

We need to be instruments of peace, and advocates for humanity

There’s no better time than now, because it’s now that needs us most to chime in,

Wake up World, stop waiting on the sounds of the alarm to kick in,

We’re in a bad dream, and it seems there’s no means to an end.

Rest assured, it’s surely our fate that’s at stake here,

Come clear and become free from the fear,

Uncover your mind and avoid indifference.

Because the ignorance that’s among us today

Will only inevitably breed more monsters

It’s not the quality of our lives that matter nor our intentions at best.

Its our children’s lives at risk here it’s our humanity that’s put to the test,

We need to tame the hate inside our hearts and no longer be misguided its deception,

A clean sound mind is the only way we’ll avoid being sucked in,

It’s all lies we’ve been given, but it’s not us that needs truth serum.

One must avoid falling victim to Plato’s illusion,

And cave in,

Or be alluded to,

A cave within,

It’s no doubt at times it feels like all our walls are caving in

It’s so perplexing what kind of greets you meet,

Trapped in an uncharted bind,

Where ignorance trumps being kind

No need for disclosure, it's crystal clear,

But if one must resonate on new heights, it’ll only exist by tuning in,

Just like stardust, enlightenment exists upon its first spark within,

It's your light that lights the worlds

Illuminating the darkest of skies is what your purpose is

Not existing in an illusive world feeling worthless.

When you change the way you look at things, things do become clear,

It's all a state of mind, avoid the darkness or wavering to its fear.

Unveiled truths will start to appear,

Past remnants appear like ruins from an ancient civilization,

But profound discoveries can only be made

If one becomes fixated on the calm

they’re more likely to survive the storm they’re in.

Galaxies only exist when coalesced matters are true

It's most stellar performances may draw you in,

But it's matters from the heart that light the whole sky

And really fill the void within

Right-minded in a wrong world can make you seem insane,

I'd rather beat to my drum, than be a participant in this game that two can play.

Insanity is only determined by the majority, but whose to say,

Ignorance is bliss only if it exists in another fool's play.

Youth Dreams

Youth dreams,
Real they seemed,
Until reality
Deemed it a rar’ty,
Persuaded this lion’s heart
To frailty,
And made it bleed.
What seemed to be
Instead was an ego’s pride,
Incapable mind over heart
A deep foreshadowing,
Became its own pawn,
An overdue introspection
Within it all too obvious
Through the looking glass,
Apparently forsaken,
Just like the crescent moon in all its glory,
Presents half itself before me,
Lit me up but left me out,
A sight to be seen but not adorning
Just a fool in the sky,
Half faced before me.
This Man in the Moon,
Looking down upon me,
Unforeseen the battle he’s in.

Love Potion

Genuine LOVE has a remedial effect if it is welcomed in by its acquaintances. A true medicinal gift in itself that has an ability to cure the most coveted of hearts. Whats sad about this world is that not everyone cares, even if one derives every essence of their being from his/her heart, the receiving end tends to concern themselves toiling with muddled debris and frivolous nonsense. A thriving epidemic drawn out of bewilderment and insensibility, stands alone, cold and naked pending. If only this fool knew that in his paradoxical state of mind he could be adorned with an unwavering and irrefutable antidote labeled number 9. A vulnerable state worth giving into to save the life of another, yours and mine. ~Sealion

A Void Dance

It’s medicinal,
Matters of the heart,
Once felt,
Can risk being torn apart.
Abandoned,
Left forsaken,
This soul of mine,
Where has it been taken?
Wish I could awaken,
I used to dream,
One day it’ll be me,
Instead
Fortitude has forgotten me,
Begotten not devotion,
But constant misfortune
Considering they all flee,
Or use me,
Yearning in abandonment
Left to question
Will it ever be me?
Concealed in self-reliance,
Feigned in self love,
This long awaited arrival,
Drowns me in suspicion.
More like skepticism,
Maybe I should give up?
Instinctually I hear this voice,
Time upon time telling me to
‘Stay the course’,
Though it feeds me none,
I strive to carry on,
Neglecting any oncoming negative,
Disarming the pain
Avoiding lingering on and disheartened,
Or even stoned by some.
When you’re alone in company,
Don’t be fooled by the stars,
Stellar remnants cold to the core
Seem to associate amongst the clusters
Often the brightest ones
Start small
create their own diversion
from matters of the heart,
be it a supernova or a black hole sun.

Note To Self

My life truly has purpose. Its intentions are to complete a life lost impromptu. You see, when you lose faith, in that moment be still, for it is you who's real in this world; when you lose hope, listen to your breath and allow each exchange to be a treasure found within; when you feel stranded and desolate, listen to the beating of your heart and be reminded there's still work to be done; and when you yearn for genuine and unconditional love, light that fire inside of you, because without it, others may lose their way. ~ sealion

Epiphany Part 1

You took me by surprise once,
I didn’t see you coming,
An epiphany
Unveiled to me,
Not many would’ve summoned.

This damsel in distress,
Once emerged from a rose,
Bewildered and perplexed,
An unceasing lament,
“Why is it me that you chose?”

Call me what you will,
A mystery in the making,
Maybe One’s Divine Creation,
A Lion’s share surely hath forsaken,
This Bleeding Heart’s desire,
Intentions best to Awaken,

Brought to fruition,
Because of a sweet love story
Between a simple Faith-filled man,
With an unwavering past,
Who fell in love with his best friend,
A sweet beautiful girl,
Through the looking glass,
My beloved mother,
Personally,
The most selflessly devoted heart-filled woman.

With a whole universe out there
A beautiful moon in all its glory,
Embellished me with his stars,
Call them freckles from the sun,
Call them what they are,
An extravagant ephelis work of art,
Just to determine,
I’m not just a reflection,
But a constellation,
Predestined with this mind, this heart, and this soul,
In the figure of this female,
With quite a story to behold.

Why here, and why now,
It’s an alluring wonder.
Born into a family,
With two parents,
Three siblings begeted,
But for me,
Still no children and no husband.

You’ve watched me grow right from the very start.
You’ve challenged my will, my ego, and my heart,
I can’t imagine you’d create something without purpose,
And I can’t stand living on the surface.
Test not here,
Because You created me imperfect.
Can’t expect this fish to climb that tree,
Because no matter how hard I swim,
I’ll still dwell below the surface,
You know,
Where the water isn’t pure is.

It’s here where the beautiful people are
They’ve battled their wounds and been left with scars.
They’ve worn their heart on their sleeves,
Only to be stored in jars,
It’s this ignorant and hate-filled society,
That’s determined to feed on the Pure of Heart,
Convincing them their depressed, less than, or bipolar.

What purpose does that serve?
One would think,
‘But we’ve come so far?’
To our dismay.
This magnificent world,
Couldn’tve become more torn apart.

Epiphany Part 2

(continued from part 1)

But we’re all witnesses here,
Right from the very start,
Veiled from conception,
Driven by Heart.
Dieu vivant grâce à vous et à moi,

You ever think to wonder,
Who it is that smells the rain,
Or really hears the thunder?
Take for a moment,
Whose wings we’re under,
Witnessing from across the vast open sky,
A mumuration of starlings,
Unrehearsed, yet in unison,
What humanity’s intentions should exemplify.

We can all be absorbed in our own self-interests,
Dwelling on the sum of our parts,
We’ve all bared witness,
Yet, in heaven’s sweet disposition,
The whole seems what’s greatest,
No matter the situation,
This life’s an experiential syndication,
Existentially drawn from Love,
It’s primary objective.
Mending wounds, touching hearts,
Believing in the greatest gift of all,
Right from the very start.

Depicted internally,
Revealed in time,
Be it more a celestial experience
When I am gazing upon you,
Your heart,
A vision from within mine.

One’s experience may not be yours but His,
Your spirit’s the vehicle,
Accumulating and proving,
A feigned Elysian,
Under the sun,
Solely God’s introspection.

Just know you’re here for a purpose,
You’re living proof what Heaven on Earth is,
Your life’s truly a blessing,
Embrace it for what it’s worth,
Becoming truly immersed.
Never neglecting loving you first,
The weak prey on the weak,
Rest assured, it’s just love they thirst.

Life’s about being that someone,
You come across so rare,
Aspiring others to want better,
Even at their worst,
Even if they'd be fooled by despair,
Life’s an unrehearsed soul search.
And we’ve all our crosses to bear,
So be genuine, be forgiving, and loving too.
Témoigner du fait que votre esprit envoyé de Dieu.

Drifting Into Dreamland

Realizing the fact that everything that is in my life now won't be forever can utterly disturb me in ways that can spin me around in so many directions when in reality I am laying still in my bed waiting to drift off into dreamland. Feeling my breathing harder and deeper in my chest and exhaling all the frustration, confusion, and distress out through the pores of my skin embracing myself while letting tears escape from my eyes to my pillowcase. The fact that all I have is now and that there are no promises except that what I will end up having forever is myself in the end keeps the wheels in my head turning and twisting and my heart beating stronger and stronger as if it will break its way through. All I ask is why and still no answer. So at times I take a moment to look at where I stand as of now. I have learned so many lessons and experienced so many experiences that have helped me grow into the person I am today. Not always easy, not always positively but always changing, and the fact that I have more ahead amazes me. I've realized I have to expect the unexpected and choose how I can deal with what I am faced with. I sometimes have to force myself to take a slight break from reality and remind myself who I am and the choices I make because they will impact me and my life forever. So I have to be real sure of who I am and the person I want to become. Its not easy like I said. A little reminder always helps, because I can get quite confused and lost at times. Reality plays the best tricks on me, and I can be easily fooled at times by the roles some people play. It is a constant battle of love and hate with having this blind road ahead of me. Sometimes leading me downhill so far leaving me so helpless, empty and numb that when I look up it seems almost impossible to keep moving on. Surprisingly still having that bit of hope helping me to keep going. It is not bad to take a break every once in a while though. I've lost so much and in place I have also gained so much in my life, arousing me with the new happenings that are handed to me. Sometimes drastic, sometimes barely anything at all. What gives me the slightest hope is the fact that I have found one thing that makes sense out of my life. It is the coincidental pieces that fit together when they happen to me. Something happens confusing me then in time another and in hindsight tying it all together and making perfect sense out of it all. Not all of my puzzles have been figured out but having such small pieces fitting together gives me the littlest bit of hope helping me to keep breathing and keep moving forward. Maybe, hopefully I will someday understand it all and put it all together. Yet out of it all I know I must keep on in this crazy yet wonderful world... with the future ahead...the past behind...and the present in front of me. Choosing wisely and reminding myself constantly, and in time letting my dreams take over me once again.
