Depersonalization
It’s funny when it happens,
Out of the blue like thin air,
Once the kettle starts purring,
It’s like your not even there.
You hear the noise,
Then separate,
Before you know it,
You feel the connection start to dissipate.
Louder and louder it starts to buzz,
But the crowd ain’t aware,
You’ve left because,
When the hive starts to raise,
While disregarding your song,
The sentiments of yesterday,
can seem long gone,
And nothing seems all that’s left,
When they leave you,
And neglect to see you ,
Walking that fine line and holding on.
And all you’re left in is a sweet desperation
Of humble serenity to anything or anyone
Even if its just a temporary patch sewn on.
The wound is still there,
And it’s a disdain performance gone wrong.
And these dirty dishes just can’t wait,
while the rest of you go on,
cause this fantasy world isn’t real to me while feeling like
a cast off soul within the person.
The feeling of being surrounded by life,
But locked in a spiritual prison,
And its tunnel vision can’t fix the equation
Its amazing the life long maze you can go in
If the wound within hasn’t done its healin,
It would be a miracle to live this life,
and not in its third person.
Because from up here,
I can’t feel what my heart feels,
and these forcefilled tendencies start to act,
when you’ve been surviving a crocodile past….
