Forgive You

To forgive you certainly feels like treason,
I have a duty to my heart and for good reason.

You hurt me more than you could have imagined,
You after all caused a beautiful distraction.

I was jade,
And my love soon faded.

When your love turned to hate,
I all to soon witnessed my grimsly fate.

Awoken by pain,
You could have at least been humane.

Blood covered the floor,
Me tortured with all the gore,
I screamed "I thought it was I you adored!"

No I was thrown away,
because I could not obey,
you always assumed foul play,
and kept your love for me at bay.

So please see forgiveness is not easy,
the thought of it make me quite queasy.

For now i am content,
I gave my 100% with the changes I under went,
which have been a reluctant event.

It may not be today,
you could meet me halfway.

The road of forgiveness is tough,
but it will come soon enough.

Just you wait and see,
it will take time for forgiveness to match that degree.

With a little compassion and understanding,
you will see it is not justice I am commanding.

Will Not Bow

Will Not Bow

Having inner strength comes with a price, as you will see I've had to roll the dice, but with sweat upon brow, you'll see i didn't bow.

I have had a struggle for two, and witnessed more tradegy than anyone should do.

I have made bad choices that caused pain in others, and shook the trust i had gained from brothers.

I have lied, cheated, and remained emotionally closed, and kept the true me from being exposed.

It was hard for me to start over, to search for luck among the clover.

With no guidelines as to where I should go, I found freedom in life's sweet glow.

I found inspiration in human life, and help guide other through their strife.

To give others what I did not have before, a true sense of strength to clamore for.

To stand out front a crowd, to shine without a frown, for this is what I vowed and what I placed upon crown.

To fight for others when they bow out, to plant a seed of hope and watch it sprout.

Into strength mighty as oak, and into a life that is no laughing joke.

With a little inner strength and inspiration, I will stand for the longest duration, and help others become the best they can be, I will lead them to their highest degree.
