Daddy's Little Cinderella

All of her life
She just wanted to meet him,
He doesn’t even know she exists
All she can do is dream.
As she grows up without anything to remember him
She tries to stay strong,
She’s always thought what it would be like
To have that father/daughter bond.
She’s all grown up now
And she’s getting ready on her special day,
At the end of the reception she sees a tall handsome man
It’s her father and she has no words to say.
The music starts playing and he grabs her hand
He ask her to give him this chance,
To spin his Cinderella around
As they finally get their Father/Daughter dance.

The Perfect Man

You light up my world,
When it is completely dark,
The first time we ever met,
You and i had that certain spark.

You know how to make me smile,
And i love how you tell me,
You miss me,
Every once in a while.

I know that you're the one,
Who will never leave me,
And i know that you will always love me,
For who i was meant to be.

Our love for each other,
Is so passionate and strong,
And even if it wasn't because of fate,
I know that choosing you wasn't wrong.

You're my savior from heart break,
And my king sent from above.
And i know that you're the one,
That i will always love.

In your arms,
Is where i want to be,
Knowing the man of my dreams,
Is holding me.

You're the rhythm of my heart beat,
And that's why i love you,
Our kisses are so sweet,
I also love those too.

So this is all i have to say,
Just remember... I'm yours, your mine,
And we will be together,
For FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!!

It's Been a Year

Since I have seen your smile
Or have heard you laugh
Since we had “meetings” in my bathroom,
I remember your spot was always the bath.

Since we met over Facebook
We then started talking,
Since our first kiss in the backseat
And i got to hold your hand while walking.

Since we texted and called each other
And stayed up all night
Since your messages
Woke me up in the morning light.

Since you hung out in the garage
And played guitar with my brother
Since the first time you came over
And became another son to my mother.

Since we laughed until we cried
Laying on my bed
Since “see you soon”
Were the last words you said.

Since you, My best friend
Have passed away
Since my heart broke into a million pieces
That morning in German class that day.

Since I've lost the only relationship
That meant the world to me
Since I've actually smiled without pretending
And showed the real me.

Since I've seen your shaggy hair
And your bright blue eyes
Since you would drive over late at night
Just to bring me a sweet tea and fries.

Since we used to play like ninjas
And I’d surprise you with my attack
Since I've accepted the fact
That you’re never coming back.

Aug. 28th, 2013
It’s been a rough year without you. Accepting the fact that I won’t see you again until the day I join you up there in the heavens. I’ll always remember you. You’re in my heart and always on my mind. I could never forget you. I miss you with all of my heart and soul. I’d give anything to see you one more time and hug you. Just to see you smile and to hear your laugh. To feel your presence before you even walked through my door. You showed me that there is a life worth living, just wish I could live it with you again. I love you. In memory of Skyler Dahne Shawn Turner.

Pain I Can'T Explain

This pain I feel
never goes away,
It's connected to me somehow,
and with me everyday.
It feels like it's apart of me
and I don't understand why,
Most days I get weaker,
and have a feeling I'm saying good-bye.
I don't like checking into the hospital
and having my own room,
The medicine the doctors give me,
I take in and consume.
Whenever I'm not strong
I ache and cry,
Sometimes I hurt so bad,
I want to say good-bye.
I try to stand up
and walk around,
But sometimes the doctors say I'm not strong enough
and they lay me back down.
It gets boring
just staring at the ceiling,
Nothing ever happens,
it's all so unappealing.
It's my time to go now,
Just remember what i say
"I'm always watching out for you from above,
and i'll be in your heart everyday".

In Memory Of A Loved Girl, Daughter, and a Great Friend.
    We Miss You.

Remember

Remember when we would laugh and play?
I remember you coming over every single day.

Remember when we would laugh for hours?
I remember us knocking down each others Lego towers.

Remember how you said we would never be apart?
I remember your funeral, it sill breaks my heart.

Remember how we would talk about our future plans?
I remember us always holding hands.

Remember the late nights of sweet teas and fries?
I remember we both hated the part when it came to saying our good-byes.

Remember my smile, and the love we used to share?
i remember your blue eyes, and your shaggy golden hair.

Remember when it was just you and me?
I remember you saying there's a whole different world out there to see.

Remember saying that you' were never going to die?
.... neither do I.

Broken

Glass from the mirror
Shattered on the floor,
She doesn't know
If she can do it anymore.
Her heart has been broken
And it’s impossible to fix,
Her body is bruised all over
Like she’d been hit with bricks.
A broken bottle
Lays on the ground,
All she remembers
Is the sound.
The sound of her children crying out
“Mommy don’t leave”,
There’s so much more
She wanted to achieve.
But she chose the life
To drink every day,
Now she’s dying
And doesn't realize she
Wasted her life away.
She cries the last minutes
Before she passes away,
There’s a few word’s
She wants to say.
“Lord, please forgive me
For I have sinned,
Take me with you
To begin a new life again.
I've made mistakes
In my past,
But I promise you
This will be my last”.
Next day comes around and
Her kids walk in the door,
They see their mother’s body
Laying cold on the floor.
Beside her is a note
To them; she wrote,
“My dearest children
Who read this,
I’m so sorry I left this way
But I don’t want you to be sad on this day.
I’m in a better place now
With the Lord up above,
Just call my name and I’ll be there within a blink of an eye
You’ll always have my heart, and all of my love”.

Moosey

My dearest brother,
Over the past few years we've grown strong, i remember when we didn't get along.
Oh I miss the days we would spend together, we would make each other feel better.
Since iv moved away it’s been lonely, I feel like we're drifting away slowly.
Even though ill be back, I dearly still miss you.
You probably already know, but I love you too.

Happy Father's Day

Daddy,
It kills me that we've never met. It kills me even worse that you don't even know I exist. Some people may call me crazy because I'm pretty much talking to a stranger, but since I was a little girl I've dreamed of taking that place as your little princess. I've always imagined what you looked like. Mommy says I look just like you. Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if you were in it. I wonder if I would be happier than I already am. I wonder if you and mommy would be married and it would just be the three of us together. I wish things happened differently back in the day. I at least wish you were there to witness your baby-girl being born. Call me crazy or a freak, but in my heart you're always going to be there. I'm still going to look for you when I'm older because finding and getting to know you is my biggest dream. I know God has planned for you and I to meet but that won't happen until the time is right. I will wait patiently. When the day comes that we meet for the first time, I'm not expecting you to take me in right away, but I will remember that day whether it goes goods or bad.. I honestly don't care. I just want to finally be able to say that I know my dad. But until the time comes I want you to know that on this Fathers Day I'm still thinking of you.
Love forever and always
Your Daughter

Drinks

Tall glasses filled with poison
The bartender is all over the place,
The lady walks into the bar
And everyone stares right at her face.
She sits at the table
There right front and center,
The waitress already knows what she wants,
An order of rum, vodka, and jager.
As she drinks
She thinks of her past,
She remembers losing her father,
So she pours another glass.
It’s a little past midnight
When she stumbles in the door,
Trying to stand up straight
She then hits the floor.
The morning arrives and
She wakes up on the bed,
She doesn't remember anything and she looks across the room
There she sees herself laying there dead.

Faith Is a Powerful Thing

Faith is
A powerful thing.
It brings you closer to the
Truth beyond this world.
Heaven
Is real and
So is Hell.
Afterlife is forever, but some
People don't understand it's true.
Others just don't
Want to think about death.
Eternity is scary for some people because
Reality is what they've seen
Felt and lived their whole life.
United with the ones we've
Lost, is a lot to embrace and
Think about.
However; having the faith to
Imagine the impossible and knowing
Nothing will ever be the same,
Goes beyond the depths of the Human mind.
