Humming

I like to take a stroll in the park
and gaze around to see the geese at peace
Birds,of many kinds,shapes,and dimensions
drinking wine from the waterfall faucet

As it is my custom to do when or wherever I may walk
A quaint little song, easy to sing along and cheerfully to hum
It takes one back to a special time in the early life
Verses that refrain with life and a little melancholy
Choruses that meld with a kindergarten children's soothing voice(as One)

Tweetie birds and puppies that romp
Dancing to the melodic humming that comes from the heart
I am the only one that feels quite in place around this natural retreat
To put it on "egbdf" bar or scale, caressing every syllable,a sharp or natural
It does not mean that one may be invulnerable to negative feedback or straight
out attack of the cynical which does dwell within certain cynics

Just a simple old man,re-adjusting his life to serve his and his Loved ones
true pleasures and desires from this life
Take a moment from what may be perplexing in your neck of the woods,
sit quietly on a wooden bench and hum a song to the rabbits, squirrels
cats,and every animal of sort

Not only for them
but,
for yourself,as well

Where Is My Long Ago Friend

Sitting on the Grass up Strawberry hill
Writing a sad poem about my Son's early departure
He was bound on the 9:00 train to "st.Will you Believe011,NoCity,Heaven
30 was his last year's age as A Green Monster with Cancerous Claws
sought to consume him with smoldering smoke that permanently takes
a unique life away from the embattled Foe of our Life:
Smoking
Cigars
Drinking
wine with sleeping pills
It made him ever weary of the future that was stretched out for him to lay upon
God and Jesus carried him away from us too soon
While the words are carefully chosen to put into verse
Some cloud,up there,that quite resembles a 6ft 4 inch gentle stature
A grin that could pull in a 1000 young friends(Male&Female)to his side
Many days and night pass with a twinkle as my lonesome head lies upon
a soft silk-knitted pillow that he had made for me as a treasured token
It has been a tiring six years after his sudden exit and the loss is clearly shown
and felt upon this aging face of defeated expressionism
I want him back,my Lord of the Sky
Is that too much to ask?

Torn Between 2 Nuclear Lovers(Feeling Like Their Fool)

Every time i close my eye
to see a bomb
dropping from the sky
Forewarmed yesterday
Pyongyang is quite ready to play
Nervous nations far and near
Sex and prostitutes disappear
Madman's ego pushed to the edge
BUSH is bushed and sitting down on the ledge
World War 3 is close as we can see
Fruitless attempts are exhausted naturally
Mommy hides her frightened head
Tommy fears that his pets will soon be dead
Bullies knocking grandparents off their feet
stealing dollars to buy one last treat
there is a mushroom cloud over Boston yonder
Guess we will feel the wrath of two countries' thunder
No Rainbows over and beyond
Atomic pollution has ruined Nature's fun
The Grand Canyon is now a bottomless pit
Because no one cared enough to give a #UCKING -HIT!!
