Drowning In a Bottle

He lived his life in a constant full throttle.
Viewing everything through the bottom of a bottle.

Living in a world, that only appeared black and white.
In a world, he didn’t know wrong from right.
Looking through the bottom of a bottle, there is no light.

He would purposely stay in a perpetual haze.
He could not find his way through this chaotic maze.

He avoided sun and lived in the dark.
Ignorance is bliss without a spark,
to light the way to the arc.

Drowning himself day by day.
He felt there was no reason to stay.

One cold night he took his life.
Leaving behind a child and wife.

He left this world in the blink of an eye.
Living life through the bottom of a bottle caused him to die.

His memory lives on while we dream.
His soul is present like a never ending scream.

He is now at peace on his arc, safe from drowning and safe from the dark.

-Dedicated to J.T. Someone that will live in my heart forever and ever.

Censorship

Censorship is Dictatorship.
A Fraction of the Population causes a Media Sensation.

Our right to choose what we see and hear.
Controlled by a group that exists on instilling fear.

They can censor within their own Domain.
When it comes to mine, they must Refrain.

I make my own choices and Decisions!
They need to take control of their own homes by making Revisions!

Citizens boasting censorship have no self control.
Therefore they create a communist patrol.

They can hit a button to change the channel.
Alternatively they decide to form a panel.

Censorship is Communistic.
Quiet the voices of the Opportunistic.

Their attempt to control our entertainment Thrives.
It’s time we take back our own Lives!

You do have a choice!
Use your voice!

Friendship Takes Two

A Friend is a Treasure.
Not someone you use for personal Pleasure.

A Friendship is a Treat.
Not a One-Way Street.

With friends there is no right and wrong.
Meeting in the middle is where the heart belongs.

Secrets shared are not be talked about among Others.
However, he seemed to break the code of Lovers.

A friend can be sweet and sour like Candy.
Not someone to be around when it’s Handy.

A true friend will make you feel better when you are not Well.
They are so welcome they don’t need to ring the Bell.
In the end, they treat you like Hell.

Friends are not like other relationships. You chose them.
In the end, they turn around and Condemn.

Now it is time to find a friend within Herself.
The one she depended on was as fictional as Santa’s Elf.

Caused Emotional trauma beyond Repair.
Violence, Damage and nothing but Despair.

I’m sure the wealth of a friendship Exists.
She still persists.

It is hard to realize your only friendship can’t be revived.

Moving on was hard, but she survived.

Reflections From a Shattered Mirror

Sitting alone like a fool
No Self Esteem, she is drowning in a pool.

In a battle to feel whole
She feels as if she is half a soul

Heaven won't spit her out,
because she will scream and shout

This isn't a joke and with every tear,
She is giving up hope and building up fear.

When will it end?
For now she will have to fend.

God, shine your light and make her world seem bright
She isn't your only child, but a lonely child and wants to feel right.

Extend your hand and she will understand,
the Mirror she stares at is shattered

The pieces can be put back together,
don't make her wait forever...
