Goodbye Is Not the End of Time

Persistent soul clings like chime.
Though not all things are bound to stay,
Goodbye is not the end of time.
Though poem may lose its rhyme
And turmoils may block your way,
Persistent soul clings like chime.
Clouds above could turn lime,
Still the sun never lose its ray,
Goodbye is not the end of time.
Even it’s sad to watch alone a mime,
Even longing is the price to pay,
Persistent soul clings like chime.
Though lovers leave their clime,
When he returns, you’ll be gay.
Goodbye is not the end of time.
To have faith is not a crime,
Still nights turn to day.
Persistent soul clings like chime.
Goodbye is not the end of time.

I Read Through the Eyes

I read through the eyes through my eyes that seek
What’s hindered by the lips that could be real
On the tip of the tongue tied dark and sleek,
Pulled back to the throat in shiver and chill.
‘Derneath a euphemized stab in the chest
I feel the wincing of the cross-stitched mouth,
And or trace the irony on a jest
And know turning cheeks of deceit and doubt.
I hear rebellion in deep wide silence,
And the rain that has not fallen at all;
The leaves are whistling of rage for vengeance
For trees complains that birds migrate by fall.
When my feet touch the warm ground I know
The palpable grass just screams “Let me go!”

I Wonder How Time Changes Everything

I wonder how time changes everything
 Through very long passing
Or in just a blink of an eye;
A toy car under the bed,
A loved doll inside the box,
Or the silent greeting,
The forgotten names have not existed at all
Like lies hidden in the colors on the wall.
Like a kid I’m enraptured to see bubbles floating in the air,
An invitation,
But when I touch it,
 It goes to nothing,
As if I’ve seen nothing at all,
And I have to stop acting like a naive boy.

Lightning and Thunder

Lightning and thunder,
Vortex swirls above my head.
I cannot hear you.

Ode To the Moon

In the night sky there she smiles
Watching lovers from distant miles
After Mr, Sun neglects the world
The gracious moon starts to unfold
Joyful hearts wait the chance
To see the moon spread romance
She’s radiant, sensual, glowing bright,
A witness to bodies fused at night
To lonely hearts, warmth she gives
To broken souls, light she leaves
Could this sparkling jewel in the sky
Be afraid to fall that high?
Oh lovely maiden up above
Does she weep she cannot love?

Sonnet of Love

Why does my heart beat suddenly of love
To strangers who’ve just been passing my way
And been bedazzled but only to have
Lifetime to remember, some time to stay?
Glances and verses all traded to bliss,
Glittering hope do blind these truthful eyes
And love bruises create eternal piece
That keeps on playing to where this heart lies.
I keep it secret though my heart complains
That Cupid failed an arrow on your chest
After striking my heart with costly pains,
And wonder where he throws the arrows rest.
My heart dies tonight because love I know
Even in my deep sleep away you’ll go.

Look At Me Again

My eyes have been
trying to tell
you---

Look at me again
With your bold
scrutinizing eyes
That searched
underneath my skin
Pulling all that I
was:
Moon causing tides,
Leaflets kissing the
sand,
By your peculiar
countenance.

Touch me once more
By your hands like
tinder
Burning into flame,
And I'll be
preoccupied,
Whether to refuse of
surrender,
A lean on my back,
A graze on my
shoulder.

Speak another word,
For your voice was
divine,
On Sunday mornings
when my name was
your psalm,
and there's no other
voice,
And I, your favorite
pastime,
King's favorite
fool.

Sing me the song you
used to sing,
That all to me would
rejuvenate,
And I'll stop
commiserating...
But if you already
have forgotten me,
If you've been tired
being nice,
Do not give me
anything I ask,
I'm a star which
lost its light.

You To Me Look Like a Fool

You to me look like a fool
Grinning a heartless welcome
To a lost soul,
By the king’s summon

What prize was paid?
Or by pity have you offered
A silly kindness
For a lonely stranger?

You to me look like a fool
And you fool me now
For I cannot understand
Your sudden affection.

Battered

It was when I saw in the eyes of well-built men
The battered soul and the tear-soaked eyes
And the cries of women reached to the peak
Of the world’s calmest seas
That I realized life indeed is a blink of an eye
For the children cry in hopeless agony
And there’s no warm touch to put to sleep.
After Haiyan battered the cozy homes,
I expected a repair-session by next morn
But they couldn't fix their ruined hope,
And even I broke my hopeful spirit.
I pitied them, and deep in my heart
I wept of silent tears,
A tearless grief,
That the people of my nation in the south
Fell to a fathomless doom.

A tribute for the Haiyan victims in PH.
We remember the anniversary, and now another super typhoon heads to the battered land. May God put our people safe.

Dont Put Your Heart

Don’t put your heart to those you meet
The part of you’ll get stripped apart
You’ll be left a lonesome shit
After losing parts of your wincing heart.

Do not speak of your delight
Nor likeness that would boost pride
After they know you need them so
Oh they’ll threaten they’d wish to go.

Show to them that you care not
Even inside it aches too much
They’ll not pity, they’ll laugh a lot
Do not let them step on your hat.

Do not tell them you love them true
And you don’t wish for them to go
After all they’ll leave you still
So make them feel your heart is steel.

Even inside your tattered heart you need them still…
