A Loving God

Before my birth You made a glorious place in this world for me.
Keeping watch over me all the time.
Your love covers my wrong.
Cleansing me to be white as snow with the pure blood of Jesus Christ .
Your love is a shield that defends me from my enemies.
I am worthless without this precious love.
Your love is unconditional and pure .
Your love surpasses what I give to you.

A loving God.
A love so unique

You always pave ways for me when all my exits are blocked .
You still give me a loving touch even though i offend you.
Your kiss of life made me a living being.
Your sweet manna gives my spirit strength.
I always ask why you love me ?
I know I don't deserve it because I offend you multiple times.
You tell me you still love me dearly and you want me to be happy.
Your glowing smile grants me favour everywhere I go.

Taste My Love

You have wandered for long
Seeking a place to be strong.
Falling from the mountain into the valley.
You vowed not to visit the pit again.
No matter the precious treasures hidden there

Though you have been to the lion’s den,
Remember that there was honey in the carcass of the lion.
Let me help you build the new world.
It possesses a golden path and a honey river.

Taste my love, taste my love
I have the sweetest honey hidden in my heart.

My love will bring the sunshine to your life.
Allow me to resurrect your dead love.
I shall spice it with Solomon’s song .
The fragrance of my love will be with you forever.

As I Am

In my cover I was bare.
Rolled out with nothing to wear.
Happiness took me out with my first cry.
The kiss from the sweet lips of the sufferer opened my eyes.
The milk of wisdom gave me options of good and evil.

As I am , I crawled to pave way on my own.
As I am, I fell in many muddy pits.
As I am, I learnt bitter sweet lessons of life.
As I am, I couldn't do it without Yahweh.

My darkest night draws nearer than before.
My final years door is shutting on me.
Thinking about my years bestowed on me by my Maker.
Strong limbs suddenly became feeble.
Beautiful face now covered with contours.
The pillow is my only source of comfort .
Faced with the reality and I have no silver or gold to take on this journey .
So bare I shall go without any questions to be answered .
As I am when i came, so shall i meet my Maker.

The Jollof

I run to eat the Jollof in the plate
When the love songs made me late
This aromatic food well garnished
Never made my saliva varnished
My joy is ceaseless with this plate

Redemption

As I kneel beside this cold bed to pray
Oh Lord don’t let me be the hunters’ prey
I weep daily and flood my pillow with my tears.
When will this misery end?
Searching through my inner most being,
Like looking for a missing precious jewel.

Redemption, Redemption
Is the food I yearn to eat.

Waiting on a moment of my breakthrough.
Can these bones have life?
My hope breaks like an egg,
Nothing to hold on to survive.

I lift up my eyes and saw a glowing light
I see it leading me to cross the red sea.
A messiah is here now.
An invisible hand opens my door of life,
To usher in a beautiful sunshine to dry up
The flood on my pillow.
My heart is filled with joy
Because redemption has come to stay.

Beautiful Virtue

As the morning sun shine gives us hope,
So are your smiles to the heart.
Your Virtue makes you stand tall like mountain Everest among your peers.
Your love for humanity flows like a river.
A moment shared with you brings positive transformation to the soul.

Beautiful Virtue, Beautiful Virtue
Virtuous and Pure in heart.

Your passionate fragrance is like the rose flower.
Your name is who you are, so compassionate and always love to see others smile.
A lady who is willing to sacrifice even in the dry season.
Truly your virtues are beautiful.

The Salvation Cross

He responded to the call of salvation.
He accepted to obey the call without omission.
He descended to show the way to eternity.
He never encouraged division,
because He carried a lasting vision.
Salvation, Peace and love were His daily food.

Everyone who heard His message, tasted the
bread of everlasting happiness.
He tasted a bitter meal of betrayal .
He felt the knock of pain without gloves.
In His pains we had our healing.
He wiped our tears even in His anguish.

The salvation cross,
The cross of hope and life.

He had a forgiven heart even on the cross.
His resurrection proved His authority and
the completion of the call.
Yes, He is Jesus the Christ.

Hope Again

The mighty wind blows off the light of the torch
Darkness engulfs the path.
Walking with no direction like the Hurricane,
When will I see the light as I walk on this gloomy path?
Fear cripples my heart and I gape for life.

Hope Again, Hope Again,
A silent voice whispered deep in my dead ears.

A rushing river is never stopped from flowing by the
Old rocks in the river.
Life is about pushing up when you are pulled down.
The Hope that I yearned for, shall run to me.
The light shall return to the torch in a rush and my vision will be restored.

The Truth

My voice quivers as I speak,
The deep thoughts about what I stand for.
Thinking about how I can save or destroy a neighbour .
I am dumb like a sheep sent to the slaughter house .
I stand in the middle of the road motionless.

The truth, the truth.
What can be the truth ?

Tears flows speedily from my eyes.
I am bold now to stand tall.
I shall speak the truth.
Many enjoy their dark moments.
The rich ride on the poor.
The rich envy the truth .
Victory now rest in the home of the poor.
The truth shall always be alive.

The Judgment

He walks in the dark.
He speaks in the light.
Covering himself with a sheep skin.
Mimicking the voice of the Priest.
Thousands hail him as the messiah.

He smiles in the light but frowns in the dark.
A cold-hearted man holds his hand in the dark.
He meets the judge unexpected.
Is only the judge who has eyes in the dark.

The judgment, the judgment.
A call without a notice.
A day for records and memories.

The dark footprints has been uncovered.
The messiah of the people is naked.
Walks on the path to the crossroads of glory and misery.
The judge sends him to the path according to his deed.
Judgment is the river we cross to the eternal city.
