Life

As I sit here in the shadows of what my life should be, I wonder if this pain I feel
will ever set me free
. The struggles I have felt so deep are carved within my soul the torment of the
years gone by will forever take their toll.
Upon this world, there has to be a greater force then fate, for when my days are
here and gone will I knell beneath the gate?
Is there really someone who looks over all of human kind, if there is then why
within my being the peace I cannot find?
My hands they shake and my bodies numb from the hurt my heart does bare, if
this is how my life should be, it does not seem quite fair.
They say life is what you make it; well then, I guess I made mine hard, for this I
will pay the biggest price, a mind and soul that’s scared.
I will look up to the heavens for the strength that I will need to try to face the days
that lay ahead, for the mercy I will plead.
Dear lord if you are really there please here these words I pray, grant me strength
to face
this world with courage each new day.
I am asking for salvation for all the things that I have done, please grant me just
the peace of mind to feel a bright new sun.
The sun that shines on those with peace, who feel no pain within.
If you grant me this I ask I plead, my new life can begin.

.

Hello Fate

Hello fate are you there. For lately seems
Like life’s not far, are you listening?
Do you hear my cries? For your promises
Are full of lies. I am here fate upon my
Knees begging you to set me free, I am tired
Fate of life that’s bad a life full of darkness
That is gray and sad. There is a Lord, I do
Believe, but happiness I cannot achieve
Living with scares from my past, please
Answer me fate, will this pain last?
So here I will stay until it’s time to leave
My broken heart behind, I will be waiting
Fate for your replay, I will be waiting until
The day I die.

Remember

Remember playing hopscotch
Remember skipping rope
Remember chasing butterflies
Remember having hope.
Remember having your first crush
Remember sneaking out to be with the one
You thought you loved so deep with out a doubt
Remember getting your first kiss, from the boy
Who held your heart.
Remember when he said good-bye and tore it all
apart.
Remember how proud your parents were the day you
Finished school, the feeling of such accomplishment made
You feel so cool.
Remember your first apartment
Remember paying rent
Remember the day you feel in love with a man that angels
Sent.
Remember the day your daddy cried as he walked you down
The isle.
Remember the look of innocence on the face of your first child.
Remember your babies first few steps
Remember sleepless nights
Remember the worry watching them grow hoping
Everything turns out right.
Remember crying as they left home
Remember the stillness of being alone
Remember the days that are gone by
Remember the days to come
But most of all remember your life and all the things
That you have done , Remember.

Dad

My dad has always been the one I would lean
on when times got bad, he would listen to
my dreams and fears the best friend I
would ever have.
But as I've grown and spread my wings
to leave his loving arms I went along my
own life’s path away from his healing charms.
As I sit alone and think of how a child
Will grow, theirs so many things about my
Life that I want my dad to know.
You were my friend my strength my will
that got me through each day.
You were my foe my enemy who would show me the right way,
The reason I have morals and believe in what is
right. The one who took time out of his day to
help me fly a kite.
The person I am the person I was the person will
be. I am Proud and glad, to say you are
my
Guiding light, my inspiration my dear dad.

Why Not Peace

Why can’t this world just find the peace and learn to live as one
Why do we have to hurt and hurt for things that only evils done
Look in to the eyes of a child and see what they can see
Why can’t we live in a world where all people are set free
The beauty of a summers day with the smell of flowers near
But we live in a world of hate that’s full of lies and fear
Look at a bird so high in flight with the wind beneath
It’s wings, there’s got to be a way for us to embrace all
Earthly things. we were not put in this world to kill each other off
I wonder how much blood will shed before this fighting stops
Humans that is what we are black yellow red or white
so what is the Reason for wars that radge all through the day and night
We all were kids not long ago so look into your heart
would you Want a child of yours to die in a world all torn apart.
I believe in a world of silence , where we all can live in peace and one
Day when the killings done this will all be just a dream.
So look up to the heavens as you lay down your head tonight
And pray for a world that was meant to be of laughter , love and light.
