Gina Montalbo Poem
Death
I welcome death with opened arms.
Not because I want to end my life,
for life is a precious gift of God, but
for the release, of my outer shell and
the release of all life's anguishes and
turmoil.
Many fear death - for it's the end of life.
I believe that it's just the beginning. Death
is not to be feared, but respected. Don't
ever fear what is to be expected.
We are granted two things, a life to live
and die for and a new life in the kingdom
of God...

Gina Montalbo Poem
Tickle my heart
Cradle my face in your strong gentle hands
and look into my eyes with the purity of love.
Can you caress my skin ever so gently to
bring a pleasant chill.
With one single touch can you make my heart
skip a beat and take my breath away.
Touch my soul and you'll be mine, tickle my
heart and I'l be yours till the end of time...

Gina Montalbo Poem
I wake
I wake to close my eyes just to remember of yester year:
Years of long ago, when life was so simple then, dancing in
the rain, feeling droplets of water run down my face.
Again I wake to close my eyes to remember my first snow fall,
like a white cape covering the land and a crystal palace on the
morning dew.
Again I wake to close my eyes to remember the joys of childhood
to my teenage years.
Once more I wake to close my eyes to remember the joy on my
mothers face, watching me grow into womanhood.
I wake to close my eyes to dream now.....

Gina Montalbo Poem
Let Go
You need to fly not to stay and lie
You need to go and take your words that flow
You need to leave not to stay and deceive
You need to sigh not stand here and cry
You need to grow with your heart and soul
You need not to love me, just set me free...

Gina Montalbo Poem
Father's Day
For many years I have had only one parent; who has been
mother and father to me. She is the best parent in the world,
if there was a trophy for the best parent of the year, she would
win by a landslide.
I have received many gift's in my life from her and lost them
all, but I have kept the memories of them all, but the best gift
she ever gave me ,was my Father
I knew not about who he was, but I got a chance to know him. He
loved me dearly I found that I am a lot like him. I only knew him for
a short time, but it seems like a life time for me.
I miss him so very much, he gave me all his love that he had left,
trying to make up for lost time. Than he passed away. R.I.P. Dad...

Gina Montalbo Poem
Magic Wonder land
We're going for a ride on a white little cloud
souring through the sky like we had wings.
Just me and you with a birds eye view to a
magic wonder land.
We're going where reality brakes and fantasy
comes true.
Were castle grow as high as the sky and
rainbows end in the palm of your hand.
In that magic wonder land, so hang on tight and
don't let go, or we lose the magic we both hold in
that magic wonder land...

Gina Montalbo Poem
Raven's Cry
No more solitude no more pain.
Dry my tears that where in vain.
I hear the Raven's Cry, searching for
a soul that's mine.
No more solitude no more pain.
This world of mine will drive me insane.
Hear the Raven's Cry, searching for
The soul that's mine.
No where to run, no where to hide....
A sad little sigh the Raven's Cry.....

Gina Montalbo Poem
Where I am from
Where I am from, is a place far and distant.
Where people went, or go to escape the south,
for the right to be free to be entangled in a web
of many roads to chose from. Every thread of a
web is a life line to an individual.
Where I am from my life line starts: I am a product
of love, a memory of the past and a hope of a future.
Where I am from; gangsters live and die by there own
corruption.
Where I am from is between nowhere and somewhere,
for I am the eyes and ears of what was, what is and what
will be. Where I am from the tallest building was the sears
tower and were you can feel the winds whip through the
buildings. I am from Chicago. That's where I am from...

Gina Montalbo Poem
Temptation
Here I lay awaiting my faith.
Can I tempt you with my ever
lasting beauty that you can
only see.
Can I tempt you with my soft
full lips against your lips.
Let me tempt you with my
breath blowing on the nape of
your neck.
Are you tempted to let me run
my finger tips across your skin
to follow every curve.
Are you tempted to keep watching
me lay here on the burning sand as
the waves crash against my soft silky skin.
Are you willing to fall for the temptation of passion...

1943
1... is for the child she had.
9... is for the first years of her life.
4... is the missing heart beats in her heart.
3... is for the children that could of been.

note:
this is the year my mom was born, a great year at that...
She is adored by many and loved by many more... A mother,
a grandmother, a great grandmother and a great great grandmother...
She is the joy of our lives... Smile and hugs....
