There was a time when we were together,
Living with each other creating wonderful memories,
Having fun going to the beach and playing in the backyard,
Sitting down at the table and coloring with you,
Every time I hear your voice it makes me want to cry,
It’s just been that long since we looked each other in the eye,
Even though you’re a thousand miles away your always in my heart,
I’m just afraid to hear that one day you’ll be gone,
Never to feel the same,
I’ll always miss you and hope to see you again,
Before we start going our separate ways,
I’ll love you forever and this is a pain to say,
It’s going to be a while before we get together one day.

Where you and I sit side by side,
Talking and laughing during this joy ride,
Lost in the company of one another,
Loving this time we have with each other,
Everywhere we go we are always together,
You and I will last forever,
Inseparable just like bread and butter,
I would always protect you like a brother,
Although I am not a king and you are not my queen,
I would treat you with nothing less then royalty.

All these feelings I get are sometimes unwanted,
Occasionally I feel as if they are consuming me,
Unable to escape I feel hopelessly confused,
Some days I feel happy and energetic,
Others nothing but depression and sadness,
I don’t know why I’ve been feeling the way that I have,
I just hope it ends soon so it doesn’t continue messing up my life,
I wish I had someone to talk to and feel comfortable around,
Instead of feeling secluded and disregarded,
Loneliness seems to be appearing around quit often,
Never to leave me unaided

A feeling of anxiety that fills me with excitement,
An adrenaline rush that I get only when I think of you,
I think of things I should’ve done differently while you were still here,
It upsets me to know what the outcome could’ve been if only I haven’t messed up,
Knowing what I know now makes me want to relive those moments I've shared with you,
Changing everything that has already happen is something I wish I could do,
Things would be better if those nightmares would disappear,
Life would be better if all of my scars would fade away,
My emotions will change if these dreams were to come true,
My desire is what helps me keep myself together,
My desire is what helps me become a better person.
