Echoes From Unknown:

Mid Labyrinth
of abyss,
in the vastness
they exist.
Unearthly voices
set the stage.
For mortal man
is all the rage.
Placed upon this
darkended page.
No rest, no peace
for mortal bones,
exist amid these
earthly tones.
Lost amid this
churning sea,
shrouds of
darkness
beckon
thee.

Atonement:

Travel on solid, level ground has never
been my cup of tea. To take the easy
path, some how seems a lie to me.

I wandered down a broken trail,every inch
tooth and nail. I grew accustomed to the pain,
among jagged rocks and pelting rain.

From the tallest peak, I ever climb, weary eyed
about this time, I gazed upon a blood soaked trail.
Curiously, I observed this gruesome seen. It's path
cut across mountains, deserts, oceans, and streams.

Then to the very base of the peak from which I stood, a
little shocked and quite disturbed. I followed it on, upward
through the undergrowth, to my own blood stained knees,
realizing then this trail was mine, from my knees I did climb.
