My Last Plea

Cutting deeply into my withered soul,
she laughs as I call out in agony
and pushes the knife deeper into me
Then leaves and takes away what made me whole
Gasping helplessly i have lost control
What my futures holding i cannot see
I try to yell but whisper my last plea,
"you are perfect, I need you" I extol
"please don't leave I love you" my words last said,
but upon deaf ears, my crys left unheard
All that I am and that I was before
now gone is my soul as I am dead
My body still stands but without a word
Althogh still breathing my soul lives no more

My Overdose

You are a shot of morphine
directly into my heart
Hurting so bad at first
then slowly i feel numb
I no longer hurt
but is this good?
I no longer feel anything
I'm numb to laughter and happiness,
numb to the world
Slowly now im fading away
breathing faster and more heavily
My heart stops and misses a beat
like when i used to hear your voice,
only different now
I'm fading into nothing
feeling goes first
then sight ,
and sound next
Finally my sense of smell is gone
and im left with a bitter taste of despair
Now all is closing in
No senses, no emotion
just the memory of you
and as that fades away my life does to
Time of death 2:14 pm,
the coroner calls it
I only wish i could tell him he was wrong
because ive been dead for almost a year now
You were my Overdose
