Rock and Roll

How does a culture change?
How does a culture grow?
By absorbing new thins from other cultures
But you won’t allow me to do so!
So what if I like music where all they do is scream?
At least I listen to music that has modicum of meaning.
This music speaks to me and it could speak to you
But no you would never let because that’s music “we” shouldn't listen to.

You have to understand the genre of which I speak, 
the music that takes me to the edge of the ecstatic brink.
Did you never feel the primal urge as guitar and bss become one?
Not a compelling of your hips to dip and wave, but a pulsing in your head and 
chest, 
a manic building of energy that compels you to move, 
to dance, to jerk, to shake, to thrash,
as your emotions become one with that of the song, 
a communion that your whole body must take part in,
a pssion so great that there is no response but to scream or cry, 
the pinnacle of an almost orgasmic crisis.



My brothers and sisters,
this is rock and roll.
