Delondi Kintaudi Poem
Thoughts roll out
like marbles on glass
each one seperate
but distinctly familiar
Emotional tidal waves
swaying, rolling, pervading
but dissappearing through self reflection
growth and maturity presently
taking me to a higher level
like if I were KRS-1
a microphone legend
for I have demons forever teaching lessons
locked in my basement
never to be shown
I wear no emporer's clothes
My attention dissaptes naturally
simultaneously traveling among
various identities
Impulsivity collides with integrity
I recognize my humanity, morality, iniquity
and the limitary of my traveling road show
that ever grows
but does not define me

Delondi Kintaudi Poem
I imagine the magic of we
and wonder if such wizardry
only occurs in fairy tales or short stories
with butterflies, unicorns, dragons,
and lollipops
that grow in sacred gardens
thoughts and ideas revolve exponentially
and confirms carpet rides are not just for genies
your supernatural touch transcends dimensions
your essence empowers my heart’s ascension
I contemplate how to please and satisfy you
not deny you
of any pleasurable way you want and desire
You make me want to set my standards higher
As visions of white picket fences dance through my head
I realize that wishes and dreams are not dead
for those moments, seconds, minutes, hours
whatever they may be
I sit and inquire
do you ever ponder
or imagine me imaging you
and how our future can be?

Delondi Kintaudi Poem
My name describes and summarizes me
my essence, vitality, and pressence
it is the model I search for
with stretching arms
and pray in my heart to become
it is a constant reminder of my potentiality
forever linked to my Congo ancestry
spoken indefinately
as a unification of soul
with stories of unity untold
of family suffering and survival
My name signifies their struggle
and is a holistic envisioning
of my grandfather's dreams
Delondi means epitome
not the purity of any particular race,
not the misguided attempts at perfection
that results in saluts and exclamtatory cries
not superiority as one might arrogantly
interpret with no flaws
but a superiority based on
effectiveness and efficiancy
based on acceptance
judgement
and a belief that if knocked down
God can bring us back up again
superiority based on ones best
despite one's limitations
Ngoma means drum
the rythym and sound that
enables us to share our lives experiences
the thoughts, ideas, and messages
inevitably and necessarily implying
a knowledge transfer
from one person to another
knowlege seeking, bonding, enabling
and sharing our inner most feelings
Kintaudi means humble
Humility is acceptance of ones
faiures and inabilities
to be
without the power of the almighty

Delondi Kintaudi Poem
I'm going down silently
Could it be
I'm lost in a masquerade?
Sounds of laughter, joy, and humor abound
filling the air with harmony
but its intagibility
leaves me untouched
much
as thoughts, emotions, regret
evict any remnants of glee,
understandably,
I fall deeper within me
silently
battling negativity
like Frazier battled Ali
I am enough and more
than this feeling
swarming me
Prayer
Self-Reflection

Delondi Kintaudi Poem
Split decisions dance with time
and as each one intertwines
they align
with the story of God’s design
the medley of your memory trace
promotes your enduring shape
Like fossilized bones
Or data lines on a disk
Each encoding depicts history
And how you created it
If thoughts beget actions
And actions engender waterfalls
And integral
Pieces of your life
Then its up to you to conquer
All your strife
For no one else controls your destiny
Your apex
Or your valleys
Crawl along slowly
Or live for the day
Its almost like Burger King
You can have it your way
Of course there are setbacks
And complications
But each one contains
A valuable lesson
To resolve to evolve and grow
With grace
Never forget to look to coach God
To monitor your pace
Prepare wisely and move along
Just remember this isn’t a sprint
It’s a marathon
