For You Mom

Just when things are about to turn ugly
Just when things are about to go wrong
You make things right, oh Mom
You protect your loving son.
Just when I am about to cry,
Just when I am about to lie,
Your love gives me a reason to fight,
You make me stand upright.
You have been my guiding light,
My savior during those devastating storms,
You have kept my raft from sinking Oh Mom,
You have been my urge to smile when things went wrong.
Sometimes things go bad,
I fight with you and make you sad,
I made you cry so many endless times,
But still you have selfless love for your child.
Oh Mom, will you forgive me for the mistakes I make?
Will your love for me always be the same?
You know I am the most stupid boy in this world.
Your only stupid child.
So many I times I wanted to say,
Hold you tight and never let you go away,
So many times I wanted to confess,
You are my God during my distress.
So many times I cried,
Thinking about the days I shouted at you and went by,
So many times I felt in my heart,
You are my truest love,
My only love for life.

You Are My Pride

I could be in edge the of death, but still come alive,
I could skip a beat, but still survive.
The clouds could fall out of the sky,
The oceans could disappear, and all turn dry
The world might change and reborn again,
But you will be friend,
You will be pride.

When all my despairs cloud by,
When all my anxieties suppress me by,
When all my sorrows take my side,
When all my worries make me sigh,
I remember you all with a shudder,
You are my friend,
You are my pride.

Those endless times you made me smile,
Those memories you gave me and went by,
Those silly fights and sentimental cries,
Those crazy laughter that roared by,
Makes me feel loved and blessed,
You are my friend,
You are my pride.

Sometimes you have been a sibling,
Sometimes you have been a healer ,
Sometimes a harsh teacher,
Sometimes a helping guide,
Sometimes a bundle of surprise,
Sometimes blunt enough to make me realize,
Sometimes a companion lending a shoulder to cry,
Sometimes my sole reason to smile.
I will cherish you until I breathe this life,
Because you are my friend,
YOU are my pride.

Prayer

I close my eyes,
Move my lips in silent prayer,
Chant thy name,
Amidst the pious air.
I speak to God,
Ask him to bless thee,
Bless my cherub,
Whom I don't see.
You live in a far away land,
With your prince, your love,
And I count my days here,
In this fake euphoria, far and near.
I send you my prayers,
Oh my angel,
I send them every day,
So that your life becomes an utopia,
A place where you always longed to stay.
Oh my seraph,
Am happy for you,
Happy because you have got everything in thy life,
With only one regret in my heart,
You have everything in your life,
Except my love.

Strife

The journey of life begins,
With love and prosperity,
Giving us the feel of
euphoria,
But then it takes its turn,
Bringing us down.
Takes away from us our
love,
Hatred proclaims its
victory over life,
Making our life nothing
less than strife.
But you my friend,
Smile.
Life is like a wave,
Having its crests and
troughs.
Sometimes high,
sometimes low.
Very enjoyable is the ride
when it is at its peak,
But,
Weak hearts fail,
When they face the harsh
truth,
They lose their trail,
When they lose their love,
They are fragile,
You are not.
You are a fighter,
Fighting with life.
Crying at times,
But then wiping your
tears,
Smiling at life.
Ready to move on,
With no complaints or
regrets,
Just with a hope,
Someday somehow all
will be right.
Till then keep up the fight.
Life itself will be proud of
you.
