Scents of Autumn

The scent, of mousse de chene, lingers through autumn woods, musty, earthy, crunchy, fruity, fragrance.

Harvest Moon Nights

Sweet summer is kissing goodbye,
embracing the harvest moon nights,
summer birds bid adieu and fly,
sweet summer is kissing goodbye,
earth’s bosom heavy with a sigh,
tears of maple glow in moonlight,
sweet summer is kissing goodbye,
embracing the harvest moon nights.

Plight

People of other faiths, in other nations are also dying,
but, to their plight the whole world is not crying.

The Children of Gaza

Why the society doesn’t speak about

The persecuted children of Hindus in Pakistan
The persecuted children of Hindus in Bangladesh
The persecuted children of Sikhs in Afganistan
The persecuted children of Christians in Islamic state
The persecuted children of Yazidis in Iraq
The persecuted children of Persians in Iran
The persecuted children of Druze in Syria

The world doesn’t revolve around Gaza
Laced with fake news and misinformation
Jihadis play the victim-card with children on the pedestal of falsification

So, wake up world
And don’t get twirled
In the propaganda of false whirlwind

I Am The Sacred Bodhi Tree

I am the sacred bodhi tree, no one is as wise as me,
since ages I have bestowed - enlightenment, wisdom and vision,
I embody traditions and spirituality, ushering the humanity towards vitality,
within me reside the powerful gods, for I am their earthly abode,
my one pious touch can heal a heart, hurt so much,
the blessings I shower give life an unending power,
saints meditate beneath my shade,
achieving nirvana, leaving this worldly façade,
I am the king of trees,
like the pole star among all the stars.

Songs of Dawn

Dawn spreads her wings upon valleys and hills
humming to the tranquil brook
songs of misty morrow

scarlet, crimson, pink flowers sway along
like dancing ballerinas
to a beautiful day

Let's find peace in the woods

Let's find peace in the woods
     as September whispers
        the euphony of fall
           her songs like liquid gold
              colour the woods auburn
                   leaves drape an earthy tone
                        rustling through shifting winds

Autumnal Misty Mornings

With gentle hushed whispers
                  autumn paints umber hues
                     dabbing silvery mist

ochre autumnal shades
       embrace misty mornings
           a grandeur of nature
