Plight

People of other faiths, in other nations are also dying,
but, to their plight the whole world is not crying.

Death comes to many, especially unknown people. We care most those around us unfortunately.

But when it is about saving your country and existence, war is the only answer.

Sadly, people mainly focus on what involves them most directly. Good one

Not all hearts are heavy with the sorrow of lives lost in the tumult of war's fierce embrace. Grateful am I for the gift you’ve shared with us.

This is lovely. I do cry / pray though, not always specifically for one senseless, ongoing, devastating situation, but the whole bag of overwhelming sad that man has insisted on holding and filling sense moment one. An impactful sonnet, indeed. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

We are all God's children. To deny any, is to deny all. Never miss an opportunity to show love and compassion. These are the only things worth taking with us, and leaving behind. Great, inspiring read my friend. Thank you.

Our dharma does not teach us to kill those who do not follow our religion or believe in some other god, unlike some other desert cult that says otherwise.

Yes, very true. This is what our Sanatan Dharma (Hindu) philosophy teaches us. The following mantra: Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niraamayaah | Sarve Bhadraanni Pashyantu Maa Kashcid-Duhkha-Bhaag-Bhavet | Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih || Meaning: 1: Om, May All be Happy, 2: May All be Free from Illness. 3: May All See what is Auspicious, 4: May no one Suffer. 5: Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

Such a perceptive couplet. The spirit of this reminds me of Finlandia as we are all one. Best wishes for the contest. Blessings.

Indeed. Much is ignored in favor of tragedies that will go viral on social media.
