Hand-In-Hand

You are my sister, you are my friend
You hold my hand through darkness
'til the sunshine glows again.
And when I fall the hardest
You reach out your caring, loving hand.
A true friend in this world is very hard to find
But I found your hand and you found mine.
I know our friendship will keep growing with the time,
And to throw all this away would be a true crime.
Please, stay with me so we can keep each other sane,
Though our days of sunshine
And through our days of rain.

Awakenings

Every night is still the same,
a shadow comes and calls my name.
I need to face the hurt inside,
but the child within runs to hide.
How do I bring this child back out,
and make her cry,and scream, and shout?
She has to surface,be brave and strong,
so I can tell her the shadow is gone.
But what would it be like I ask,
to be awoken from the past?
Would she see things more clearly then
or to the past eternally pinned?

Single Tear

The flames of hell are burning bright
They pop and crack and blind your sight.
They rise and rise until they can't grow any more,Upon your body they burn open sores.
You pray for the pain and suffering to stop,
You turn to see the steam off a single tear that has dropped.
A single tear from the Lord's eye,
Who feels your pain,
and remember the cross with His own blood stains.
He died on that cross so you would not doomed to that fiery lake,
but you laughed at God's word,
and left your soul open for satan to take.

Emotions of the Moon

No where to run,
No where to hide.
The pain just keeps rushing back in with the tide.
Some days emotions run low,
other days emotions are high.
They say the moon controls this phenomenon
and it will always be,
so could it be our emotions are controlled by the sea?
