Candied Ache

Lips locked jaws
jamming.
Sweetened sense
mounting migraine.
But sweet pain worth it.

Charmed,Sold,Taken

A Knock on the door and
my eyes awoken
I stared at the ceiling for
a minute or two
My bones refused to get
up to open
Louder and louder I think
it knew this too

Battle in my head I could
barely think
I walked to the door like I
was broken
Reached for the
knob and lungs filled
with
matter,heavy and thick
Three shots of tequila
was all I had taken

I opened the door as if
on a mission
Nice polished shoes,black
pants and shirt nicely
ironed too
Tray in hand,his words of
concern for my isolation
Danced out of my ear
with obvious jubilation

One look was all I needed
to be taken
By those luscious lips and
charming infectious eyes
too
Matter forgotten as I was
lost in those eyes that
seemed like heaven
One look and I was
sold,one look and I was
taken

Old New Year

Yes it fits
That one fits too thank
you
Each year I play similar
lines
My brain must have lots
of records

Merry christmas
Happy new year to you
too
Each I say about similar
times
My lips can't take
anymore rewinds

Those are pit stains
Those are patches too
Each one I'm given has
got similar flaws
Nomore can I stand these
so
called gifts

Thats Rebeccas dress
Thats Tonis too
With the old each new
year begins
One day I'll say that dress
is so last year too

Back Then

I want to go back
Back to when I was slim
and trimmed
And all I knew was fun
fun fun!
Back to when I had no
worries and loved many
stories
Back to when no one told
me my flaws
And I had no idea I was
so small and short!
Back to when running a
mile didnt seem like a
chore
I want to go back then

I want to go back
Back to when school
wasnt a task
When it hardly mattered
if you read
When it was like putting
through the hole of a
pin,a thread
Back to those delicious
yam porridge
That got you spending
with all pleasure and
courage
Back to those dance
routines
That had me feeling like I
was a part of something
Back to building those
sand castles
And driving mum crazy
trying to make waffles
I want to go back then

Niusance

On and on she runs
Non stop as a truck
Blood suckers away
Lil effort she made
Didn't cost a buck
On her stomach
Then opposite
She swaps on with
Pitch flunctuating
Blaring on
I poke on
Nothing works
What more
Do I?
Slap!

Its Still Here

This buzzing sound i
hear
Is it far or near?
Surely isn't musical
I swing my hands in the
air
Almost hitting myself
It seems to have
disappeared
No no its still here
somewhere

This creepy sound I fear
Is it out there or in here?
Surely it isn't a night
magical
I'm forced into the cold
harmattan air
Light in my hand I peer
as far as I dare
It seems to have
disappeared
No no its still here
somewhere

Pointless

Money got lost.
Everyone screaming.
What use is my input?

Aisle Nine

In the best ride first
through the finish line
Fighting tides with a
patch on my right eye
Shooting taking cover
from bullet and bomb
clustered air
Floating spining and
bouncing with gravity as
my friend
Taking temperatures
checking heartdrums of
either plastic or stuffed
England Paris Mexico
Newyork I've been to
them all
New toy new
adventure one aisle show
off all
Aisle nine source of every
fantasy in my sleep
The one path to whatever
dream I want real
