I'M Still In Love With You

I've never been in love before,
It caught me by surprise
Never have i been in love
But I knew it when I looked in your eyes
I feel in you in my heart,
All my feelings I have for you
And all the feelings you gave me too
That is where it will remain
Through all this rain and pain
Somehow, someway I must learn to maintain
My own mindframe
Before I drive myself insane.
Coping with this situation seems to be impossible
Because my love for you has grown so powerful
And trying to tell myself I don't love you seems probable
But me and my emotions know thats not possible!
So now I'm right back today one
The day you left me
The day when you and me were done
And still after every dark depressed emotion I've been through
I find myself
Hopelessly in love with you!

Late Last Night

Late last night as I thought of you,
All my strength was drained from my body.
As memories of you appeared in my thoughts.
The tears came quickly, and raced down my face,
Dissapearing in the darkness and into the shadows that have engulfed me.
Now this feeling of emptiness is complete.
As the tears kept flowing, and memories kept appearing.
One in particulat gave me an ambivalent feeling.
We are on a trip,
Surrounded by natures beauty,
Never was I so nervous.
This one true feeling,
That was surrounding me,
Pumping throught my vains ever so free.
I look at you, and tell you "I love you",
Then you look into my eyes and say "I love you too."
Never have I been so releaved, to realize our emotions
Had grown so powerful.
Come to find out maybe our love wasn't true.
Now I'm left confused, wandering if you ever loved me.
Because what I felt for you was so real!
I would have done anything for love,
I have done anything for love,
All I ever tried was for love.
Overtaking my love is a feeling of great depression.
Co-existing with this depression,
Is an uncontrollable agression.
As I fall into this horrible faith,
I can feel my subconcious mind,
Slowly begining to desinegrate.
My true love for her, was altered by her infatuation for me,
Transcending me into this lonely state of mind,
Which seems to be only I can see, and the rest of the world is blind!
Blind to see me internally dying,
Coping with this struggle,
Where the only solution for me is to break down crying.
Crying, because late last night. . . . was just like. . . . every other night!

American Dream

I am the foreign traveler who works hard for little pay
I am the son of illegal immigrants looking for a better life
A life without poverty, shame, and hunger
I am an American citizen, born in this country
I am an immigrant
I am the father who looks out in to the border in hopes of his dreams
I am the American dream
I am my parents dream
The dream of education,
That my mother never received,
but none the less she is far more intelligent than those of natural born
I am the end result of my father's hard work as an illegal immigrant
I am the hopes and dreams of thousands trying to reach there Utopia
I am the face of deticated workers
who give 110% in any job they do
I am the immigrant spick who signs your checks everyday!
I am the sweat, blood, and tears of dark skinned human beings trying to evade there hunger
I am the seed of my parents
Planted in this rich soil
Growing stronger everyday
I am the desperate traveler
Who has nothing to call my own
But the clothes on my back
I built America
I've changed America
and no matter what obstacles come my way
I am America
