Why Must It Be

Can I let you go? Will you be okay? Where you're headed now...to a better place Listen to my words of forgiveness relieving this pain I'd give anything to have you back again To hold you once more in my arms, one more day of happiness you now dwell within my heart Your innocent smile is forever a distant memory, and the times that we share are precious treasures that I spend reliving The Shadow of Death Took you in just one breath Why must it be? I cry behind this closed door, searching desperately for an answer, yet all I feel is an emptiness inside... despair haunts me forevermore Why did you have to go? Why did you have to leave? Why does this have to hurt? Cancer robbed thy life from thee... Why must it be? Fly away Angel Child of Mine Trod thy broken paths, roam away, fly and be free... Why must it be?

What If Tomorrow Never Comes

I recall now the days when forever seemed but a short time The visits to the hospital, brought sad images to your mind She lay on a bed, cords all around her, no hair upon her head The cancer drove us crazy with worry tears and fright She was only a baby, I didn't get the chance to say goodbye Farewell until we meet again where you'll be waiting... waiting for tomorrow to come again. What if tomorrow never comes? How will I face the rising sun, when the moon is the only thing I can see? I need her here with me... The only loss I've ever known The only time that I've experienced this kind of sorrow... So what if tomorrow never comes? What if tomorrow never comes. And now I lie here thinking it through, memories flash through my head, memories of you Moments of a bittersweet time Reminiscing the days when you were mine The days when you were alive The tears come back to my eyes I feel the need to cry but nothing slides out I need to scream and shout, My emotions pour out as one, silently So what if tomorrow never comes? Reality in death is so hard to accept, I need my tomorrow to come... What if it never does? What if tomorrow never comes? How will I face the rising sun, when the moon is the only thing I can see? I need her here with me... The only loss I've ever known The only time that I've experienced this kind of sorrow... So what if tomorrow never comes? What if tomorrow never comes. Will tomorrow ever come? I just want to be awake when the moon becomes the sun I'm waiting here for you, in the darkness of the night. I wait still for you, forever the images will haunt my mind Tomorrow will come I'll soon be alright Tomorrow will come... Tomorrow has come... I can now see the sun.

Narcissus

A snow white flower shines in the soft light of a silent meadow. The words that you speak I shall forever echo. A lost love in the dark of the night. They all look your way, but are you blind? Can you not see the beauty of me? I echo your words, I echo your call; can you not hear the silent voice of me at all? I cannot whisper your name, my voice is gone. Silent I shall ever stay, until you speak again. My laughter shall sneak from my lips, until the last word has been spoken, Silent shall I stay again. Silver snowflakes fall in the glory of the dawn. My words are forever caught up hanging silently in my throat, strangling, dangling horridly on my cold lips. A mirrored reflection stares coldly back at you. The water paints a beautiful picture, golden and shining in the crystal spectrum. Will you fall to the hopeless masterpiece inside? Don't give into the lies that haunt your mind, can't you see that you're beautiful again? Beautiful until the end. You see me standing, afraid to think; so you speak. Can I echo your name? Can't you see that I'm afraid to breathe tonight? I'll always recall your words. With you, I shall never be alone. I won't let you go, though your desire is to be gone. In my heart you will forever live on. Farewell you bid unto the world. Farewell I echo to you. I choke in the invisible tears. The reality kills me as I drink in the truth of my deepest fears. Why Narcissus? Why my true love? Why you? Silver snowflakes fall in the glory of the dawn. My words are forever caught up hanging silently in my throat, strangling, dangling horridly on my cold lips. A mirrored reflection stares coldly back at you . The water paints a beautiful picture, golden and shining in the crystal spectrum. Will you fall to the hopeless masterpiece inside? Don't give into the lies that haunt your mind, can't you see that you're beautiful again? Beautiful until the end. I found a flower near the enchanted pool. You placed it there for me, didn't you? Forever the echoes cry out in my mind. Farewell Narcissus, until we meet again. Farewell, I'll see you whenever my time here comes to an end. Farewell, we shall be together again.

The Rose

You confessed your love for me through a single white rose I smiled genuinely, yet then you turned to hurt me, leaving me behind...lost and alone The rose was nothing but poison to my heart, for 'twas you the evildoer, pressing my finger into its very thorn As the blood inside of me ran cold, deep red drops from the cursed stem silently fell into the snow. I couldn't believe that your intentions were as such, I thought you once promised that you would forever love me... Why risk betraying all of my trust? I cannot see the angel I once glimpsed in your beautiful face... It is now replaced by a mysterious raven, forever intending to be my disgrace My like will remember that winter of December, when you gave me that simple white rose now stained red will fade to black My tears fall and the love I will soon take back as I return the very rose into your cold hand, pale and scarred Your body frozen, so cold and numb as you lie abandoned, mutilating my heart, throwing it in the blood-trickled snow I think of the end of life, holding but one white rose No pain shall I feel, so perfect, so innocent, no horror in my mind, no nightmares now It is time to whisper the final goodbye I have been given the strength, I can now peacefully bid thee farewell Do not forget me I look down at the soft white petals and embrace the only token I have left of you, my little rose so beautiful and pure Forever stained by the blood of my soul is this single white rose The rose of my one true love...

Rosaline

Moonlight shines down on my cold, pale face I am alone, her raven calling, I am disgrace Falling as the willows weep, I hold her in my arms as she struggles to breathe Rosaline, my one love divine. You are sacred You are mine Her voice rising above the water Beautiful Rosaline sang silently to me The whispers trailing off her fingers, as she faded into the darkness My beautiful angel has vanished again Goodbye my Beautiful Rosaline. Happened that Grim reckless day when the shadows began to play Beauty detonated in my trust No more, no more will there ever be a witch so grand, as to bring back my Beloved Rosaline Sorrow cuts it's way into my heart It is the locked key, the one you keep Her voice rising above the water Beautiful Rosaline sang silently to me The whispers trailing off her fingers, as she faded into the darkness My beautiful angel has vanished again Goodbye my Beautiful Rosaline So leaving this Tragic scene I vanished from Rosaline's sight Nevermore will there ever be a witch so grand, as to bring back my Beloved Rosaline Her voice rising above the water Beautiful Rosaline sang silently to me The whispers trailing off her fingers, as she faded into the darkness My beautiful angel has vanished again Goodbye my Beautiful Rosaline. Enchanting she sang to me, in the everlasting light of peace My beautiful siren walks again Goodnight my Beautiful Rosaline

A Grim Abscond

Walking on air. Thirsting for sorrowing despair is the only way I know how to keep you near. My spirit lingers for a moment, searching the softly dead silence for the words to say... forever the words are left unspoken. How can you speak when there is nothing but hungering darkness filling the eeiry quiet? My thoughts are left open in the night beauty filled with a gentle light. You see me; your gown is delicate, innocent and white. I look down at my own garments, clothed in black, I am a rainbow of darkness, mastered only by the forsaken raven... longing to thrive in the precious color of snow. A red rose drips with horrid blood, Why must I leave you now? Why must I go? You slowly reach for my hand, but you just don't understand, my heart is breaking. I don't want to bid thee farewell, but to live in such a dastardly sorrowful place would be like living somewhere else. My heart longs to be with you, and I know that in my dreams you will softly whisper "I love you" in my ear. Little do I know that one day soon it won't be in just a dream, because surely I will be with you here, So beautiful sweetheart of mine, do not dread, do not cry, For it is the words you have stolen from thy mouth "I love you", 'tis the only way I will forever depart. These words quietly unspoken still linger, silently in thy mouth evermore in thy heart... At thou grim abscond shall we forever part. Your frozen hand gingerly touches my cheek, wiping me free of all my tears. Surely, tenderly, I will soon be with thee here, until then, darling I love you. Let us forever dance in the dawn of the light, as my black garments miraculously transform, and turn into pure white. Sweetheart I am with thee here, in the night beauty filled with the glorious light. You have saved me from thy distress, thy sorrowing despair. Forever I will rest with thee, in thy heavens of everlasting light... close to you dear. "I love you" once again repeats its story as we forever slowly rejoice, dancing in victory. The two roses; black and white, silently stop crying, transforming in the light. They find refuge in each other, and live in the peace of hope, love, and looming, spectacular, innocent light. A grim abscond I once sang, as the roses drip in horrid blood, thus they prophecy destined them to be so much more, and now they stand against the beauty of the wind, forever bound together with thy treasured love.

Return To Dust

Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn . When the dirt is unearthed and spirits breathe again, taunting demons will reign as frozen screams pierce the wind. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. The porcelain hand grazing the box, a bloody knife into the flesh of the only one I've ever loved. Wake from your silent slumber, whisper the words so sacred so somber. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. I won't say goodbye. I dare not cry. A voice hauntingly quiet will shout in my mind. Give me a chance to fight away the wicked words. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. The ghosts of my past breathing down my back. The bitter silence fades into screams. A mourning moon sighs in disapproval, I never meant to leave. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. Shadows melting into the dark. Apparitions haunting me as I turn to find the light. Twisted lies cause me to trip, and so I fall helplessly, deeper and deeper into the serpent's blackened venomous pit. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. A fallen angel looms above the stone, confining the gnosis. Give me the courage to sleep in the arms of death, immortal I lie, chained within a hollow coffin. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. Despair beckons a world enchanting. I fall into paradise, the breath of innocence surrounding me. My body numb and lifeless, I surrender my all to you. I need only the key of sorrow to lead me through. Until the casket falls. Until the last soul is called. Until the final breath is drawn. The solitude is euphoric as an illusional cloak of silver spiders swallows the last soul. Goodnight black rose of eternity. Goodbye dearest gothic phantom. Tonight the earth will again consume me. I'll return to dust when all is done. When the casket falls. When the last soul is called. When the final breath is drawn.

The Dance

Swaying. I'm dreaming. Sinking. I'm dying. Freefalling. Angels sing a beautiful melody. Hallelujia, oh hallelujia. The light shines on me, enchanting. It's holy, it's holy. I'm spinning, my dress all around, and he's twirling me, my hair falling down. Now as he pulls me close, I see his kind face, I know I am secure, I know I am safe. My best friend Jesus, I smile at him. Oh, dancing with Jesus... I am alive again. My heart is pounding deep within my chest. Dancing with in my eyes ceases to exist. I am not alone. Blinded no longer is the truth hidden inside. And we're swaying. The angels singing. Hallelujia, oh hallelujia. I'm spinning, my dress all around, and he's twirling me, my hair falling down. Now as he pulls me close, I see his kind face, I know I am secure, I know I am safe. My best friend Jesus, I smile at him. Oh, dancing with Jesus... I am alive again. On golden streets we dance to the harp, he's holding me close. Silver is the moon, blue are the stars. I fall awestruck to my knees, swimming through splashing amber seas of innocence. The steps of the dance, guided by his gentle hand. I am at rest, I am at peace, folded in the glory of my coming. The spitting fire engulfing me. I'm spinning, my dress all around, and he's twirling me, my hair falling down. Now as he pulls me close, I see his kind face, I know I am secure, I know I am safe. My best friend Jesus, I smile at him. Oh, dancing with Jesus... I am alive again. I'm spinning, my dress all around, and he's twirling me, my hair falling down. Now as he pulls me close, I see his kind face, I know I am secure, I know I am safe. My best friend Jesus, I smile at him. Oh, dancing with Jesus... I am alive again. I'm dancing with Jesus... In Heaven with Jesus... I am alive again. I am alive again...

Redemption

Upon your eyes did I look, upon the tree of destiny, where Love Crucified hung so desperately. Awaiting your judgement. Friends watched. Soldiers mocked. Townsfolk jeered. I saw you through my eyes, drowning in solitary tears. Your arms spread out so openly, your spirit fading. The day became the night in the blink of an eye. A temple's veil torn in half. At your Father's one command you let out a cry, slowly, silently, slipping from your life. I gazed upon your lifeless body. So lost am I, frozen at the pinacle of the cross. Shepherd me home where I am again safe with you. Save me, Bread of My Soul. Body of My Life. Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. Echoing your one ascending name, again shall you rise. Dancing away with all of my sins, God of the Skies. Giving me the chance to live again, Redemption, sweet Redemption.

Sunset

A beautiful sunset, a painted picture in the sky. The clouds dared to take it away, but the sun shone through over this breathtaking horizon, I always knew with you, there would be a reason. I always believed in you, my heart whispers you are speaking the truth. I find blithe safety and trust in thee... please don't ever leave me. You'd miss this beautiful sunset, our memories you'd soon forget, would you want to risk that all? Giving up everything for nothing... who'd be there to help you up if ever you took a fall? Who'd be there, but me?... Who'd remember it all?... A cold wind sets in, I search for you... A ray of sun finds a sparkle of hope inside of my heart, I see you standing still, proud, and tall. There you are. A butterfly in my soul, how happy, how joyful. With this one last sunset before the end of our time, it paints a beautiful picture across the sky. Forever a butterfly fluttering, enchanting in my mind. And so you fly away, transforming in the light. Tears stream down my face, a broken heart, a sad goodbye. We will soon be together again, a promise until the end. Love will last forever, forever will find us in the end.
