Within the Twilight

Within The Twilight (Aquarian) Lonely from time to time within the twilight dim morning followed the light with lustrous sunshine bringing warmth the beauty unfolds for all the souls in the world adored with love. Some hearts with words and deeds never seem to find love yearning for happy dreams of twinkling stars that shine at night with faith and hope and all that is dear to the heart the home of love. Erich J.Goller Copyright 2.11.2010 "Aquarian" form be Ann Marie Mazz four lines 2/4/6/2 syllables---any subject any verse length--rhyming optional Aquarian extension 4/8/12/4 syllables

For the Pun of It

For The Pun Of It (Limerick Suite) There's the absent minded professor He was a known fancy cross dresser Male or female who knew He walked funny too Leaving everyone a guesser ~~~~~~~ Franky wiener loves to eat hot dogs It makes him jump high like big green frogs The onions and relish Make his stomach hellish Ate to many, now feels like the hogs ~~~~~~~ I'm leaving you all my possession First I have to make a confession But you must promise me Pay all my bills you see If nothing is left blame recession ~~~~~~~ Sherlock Holmes said I've seen that before Doctor Watson try to find out more Do you know what I mean? But you must not be seen Until we get to the final core ~~~~~~~ Erich J.Goller Copyright 3.1.2011

5 W's Poetry

Who has learned to truly love?
What’s in store for us above?
When life seems empty and there’s no place to go.
Where fullness is renewed again.
Why there’s no place like heaven.

Heavenly Spring

Heavenly Spring (Decima) Colorful blooming pear and apple trees Beautiful within the first weeks of spring Everything is heavenly blossoming With gentle blowing winds and humming bees The time to plant some vegetable seeds With the sunshine and rain all the seeds grow Glorious rainbow putting on a show Colorful flowers raising from the ground Nature showing its beauty all around With summer coming, time for spring to go Decima is a style of poetry that is Octosyllabic and has 10 lines. Given the flexible method of counting syllables in Spanish verse, where an "Octosyllabic" line could easily have seven or nine syllables (as normally counted), in writing a decima in English it would seem not unreasonable to write in iambic pentameter (theoretically ten syllables), which comes more naturally to English verse. So for English verse you would use 10 syllables per line. The rhyming scheme is ABBAACCDDC. so in English.. you would have 10 lines of 10 syllables per line... rhyme is above....
