A Letter For My Nan

I miss you Nan, everyday, and my life it seems so hard
without you by my side Nan, I don't know where to start
I thought about you yesterday, today and last week too
I think about you everyday and i don't know what to do
I wish it would get easier Nan, since you told me to forget
but it's too hard to forget you Nan, and your suffering I can't accept
I know you wouldn't want this Nan, and I'm sorry I cant move on
But your smile, your laugh, your swearing Nan, I cant believe that it's gone
It hit me again this evening Nan, that your not here no more
I wish I could see you one last time, when i knock on your front door
There's a great big hole in the family Nan, and so many broken hearts
And I feel very selfish Nan because I'm falling apart
I hope that you are happy, I hope that your smiling too
and until the day we meet again, know Nan that I love you x

The Moon

Nocturnal Light
Shining Bright
Watching over
At Night

The Runaway Girl

Lonely she walks, people stare and talk
Shes on the run - from her life
The runaway girl
Shes the dark one, on the run
Hesitating
Thinking
The runaway girl
Police surround her,
Lights shine,
"are you OK little girl"
she answers "I'm fine"
The runaway girl
Police stare endlessly at the little girls face
a women walks towards her - showing warm embrace
The runaway girl
She looks around runs & runs,
air pumping through her lungs,
and everyone shouts - to the runaway girl.

Forget Him

Forget his name,
Forget his face,
Forget his kiss,
His warm embrace,
Forget the love you both once knew,
Remember he has someone new,
Forget him when they play your song,
Forget you cried the whole night long,
Forget how close you both once were,
Remember he has chosen her.

Counting Time

13 Weeks, 2 Days, 11 Hours & 21 Minuets,
That's how long you've been gone,
and today I thought about you non-stop,
Its like that everyday
So hard to forget all of the things I loved about you, but didn't see
You're life was long & happy, yet I only see your pain
I wish I could see you smiling,
But my memory plays like a broken record since you passed,
Its like I have a broken heart, broken for the first time
An unexplainable heartache, I wish I could see you one last time,
Id tell you I love you - again
Because today I mean it more than ever,
You were like a Mother to me, and I never told you that,
I hope you know how loved you were,
Time is passing slowly, life hurts
Soon I hope to look back with acceptance and look back with pride,
That god needed an angel, and that it was your time,
Your memory is burned within me, and I will never forget
You were more special to me than both of us ever knew
Good night, God Bless darling, I love you
xxxxxx

Colours of Love

This pink is for the petals,
This red is for the love
This green is for the nettels,
This white is for the dove,
This brown is for your eyes,
This black is for your stare,
This blue is for my tears,
This orange for your affair,
This silver for your power,
This white is for the trust,
and here in our last hour
there are no colours for your lust

Things Have Got On Top of Me

Things have got on top of me,
My world is tumbling down,
Things have got on top of me,
I'm falling falling down,
Things have got on top of me,
I can't find my way out,
Things have got on top of me,
But what are they about?
Things have won the best of me,
I've lost and given up,
Things have wont the best of me,
I'm trying to be grown up,
Things have killed the soul in me,
Where are my strengths and holds?
Things have killed the soul in me,
Died before I was old.

Situation

I hate the situation,
Where you can never resist temptation,
& every time you kiss me it's like being up above,
All I seem to think about is your love,
I feel like a bird flying high
reaching to you in the sky,
but you pull back, and then I fall
but another grey day I hear you call,
I hate the situation, where you reject me all the time,
and when you want to kiss me, its always in your time,
It seems I'm forever missing you, and yearning for your touch,
but to you this situation, it does'nt mean that much.
