Things have got on top of me, My world is tumbling down, Things have got on top of me, I'm falling falling down, Things have got on top of me, I can't find my way out, Things have got on top of me, But what are they about? Things have won the best of me, I've lost and given up, Things have wont the best of me, I'm trying to be grown up, Things have killed the soul in me, Where are my strengths and holds? Things have killed the soul in me, Died before I was old.

I enjoyed this piece Hayley. There is a nice flow to this write and I like your use of repeating lines. I think this is something many can relate to. Keep writting, it's good for the soul! Best wishes Em :)
