You

We rest together by the sea
In a bower filled meadow on high,
And he shares musings intimately
While a magical breeze teems nearby
sliding through words through breath’s air
That enters my songs ,a beat that glides
As hearts lay bare on moon’s prayer,
For silence knows what love implies.

Ruby Red

Speechless, a ruby lies on my hand
Cherished by many for its red glow,
Elegantly bold as a fiery dawn
Legends say it improves health and will
Enriching the blessings of life.
Worn by kings for gem's prized treasure
A ruby is a myth's healing kismet
With its majestic russet tones
One pure beauty, quite eternal
Worth keeping for all generations.

Reading Aloud

A sonnet, anecdote,or verse
read by you,
each page of memory followed
with deep hues,
recited in a beautiful tone
I stumble,
the visions stirring on my mind
as you drawl.

Willow Tree

willow tree weeps

as red owl hoots on frail branch...

clinging to old age

An Empty Search

As I lay on mound of grassland,
weightless in eyes’ astounded spirit
blending with angels, dirt, and
crosses; and to bear this emptiness
in writhing streams omnipresent
for day and twilight’s heavy
float--- my soul changes beyond
primitive instincts---a landscape
of bittersweet cycles appear,
and below it, the fluidity
from incandescent waters lap on
mouths of stars requesting patience.

Here am i sprouting below, above
and under their flesh; fulfilling
my need for deliverance out of some
needled pinch, awash by gush of rain
seeking a depth of quiet within myself,
and nothing came except a leaf falling.

Strength In Frailty

Winter's branch may be frail, but clinging to it gives the leaf fine strength.

Triste

Loves lies in freedom
freedom to race together
bound to hold the strings
strings to tie without schemes

Love between you and me
fate submerges in time, Triste
You swim in death's rhapsody
rhapsody of laying together in blood
