Imagination of the Mind

I want the perfect fairy tale life
the one where I start from rags and end up with riches
I want the life where my knight and shining armor comes and rescues me
I want to be his Cinderella or his Ariel
I don't want to be stuck in my dreamland
I want my dreams to become his reality
I don't want to be his house hold wife
who cooks and clean
I want to be his equal
I want to be the Queen that stands by her Kings side without his ego getting in the way
I don't want his stereotyped girl because of where I come from
I want to be the girl by his side and be recognized for my achievements
I'm not trying to be his lacking
I just want to be his one and only
I want that fairy tale wedding, where nothing could go wrong
I want his heart and mind
I don't want to be that girl who is only wanted for that one thing
I want to be that special someone that his parents are proud of
I want to be Sleeping Beauty or Snow White and be kissed by my one true love
I know fairy tales are just a dream
but I strive for the love that fairy tales bring
I know it is a far fetch but I want my fairy tale life
with my Prince Charming
