My Precious Babies

My children are like the light of day,
They often ask me questions leaving me with nothing to say.
I watch them play with each other,
And think to myself, "I am a very lucky mother."
When they are fast asleep,
I often wonder what dreams they keep.
They have times when they fight,
And I assure them it will be alright.
They amaze me every time they speak,
It's hard for me to believe they are so unique.
They are my everything,
Without them my life would mean nothing.
I love them with all of my heart,
And pray that we shall never part.

Boys Will Be Boys

You are so full of excitement,
That you at times can not contain it.
You enjoy playing with your toys,
And I say "Boys will be Boys."
I know nothing seems easy for you,
Just remember to never be blue.
For I will always be there, it's true,
To show you that I care for you.

Sister of Mine

I have never had any sisters of my own,
You are the closest thing to a sister I have ever known.
We have been close for a long time now,
I do not know when it happened, but I do know how.
You have been there for me,
And I there for you, see.
We have been through alot together,
Never giving up on each other.
We talk about what bothers us,
And we get through alot of stuff with trust.
Giving us a purpose to be closer,
And proving in-laws are just as special as any other.
You may have done things that may be sinister,
But I am proud to call you my sister.
We are what family is meant to be,
Sisters for life just you and me.

Life's Trials

Our lives are never as they appear,
Worries arise for those we hold dear.
Not knowing what awaits around the bend,
Finding ourselves confused in the end.
Once we reach the crossroad,
The truth begins to unfold.
Fights are fought through our worse endeavor,
Leaving us with nothing severed.
The battle is won by choosing,
Never to give into our loosing.
When life seems to be going wrong,
We are reminded to remain strong.
For those who need us in dark hours,
It is they who give us our powers.
To surpass our life's trials,
With their love, generosity, and smiles.
At the end of each day,
We know they shall lead our way.
Because it is our family, friends, and children,
Who truly make our lives more splendid.

My Friend

"As I write the words that make up a good friend they become a reality."

You have brought back the old me,
I never thought that could possibly be.
The things and thoughts we share,
Makes the loss easier to bare.
We have endured things that are the same,
Which we were not the ones to blame.
I am glad to have a friend in you,
Who would have thought it to be true.
We have had our fights and more,
But what are true friends for.
Let's hope these feelings continue to grow,
For I personally want to be the first to know.
I hope above all you can see,
What you truly mean to me.

Our Loved One

Our lives shall never be the same,
For you were taken from us, which is a shame.
You made our lives happy and bright,
That's why none of this seems right.
The way you brought out our best,
With expecting nothing less.
Your absense will be very hard to bare,
And we all wonder how it is fair.
To lose a loved one that's so dear,
Which makes us realize what we fear.
The lonely feeling that is in our very soul,
Shall show us why we are no longer whole.
You were a great person on this earth,
And it all started with your birth.
You will be missed with all our hearts,
Our sorrow shall remain with us being apart.
As we go on in our lives without you,
We know that we shall meet in heaven, it's true.
Because that is where you are,
Which means you haven't gone too far.
We just hope that you knew,
Just how much everyone loved you.

My Little Girl

She has a way of making you smile,
Even if you want to be sad for awhile.
She can brighten your day,
In her own little way.
She sometimes shares,
Showing you that she cares.
Everyone smiles a little more,
When she walks through the door.

True Love

You are the light of my life,
I am so proud to be your wife.
I have loved you for so long,
You make me feel as though I belong.
You pick me up when I am down,
And being around you makes it hard for me frown.
You are the other half of my soul,
Being with you truly makes me whole.
I do not know where I would be,
If I did not have you here with me.
I hope you know how dear you are,
Because you are loved whether you are near or far.

My Loving Daughter

She always has something to say,
When things do not go her way.
She loves to dress up and pretend,
Which leaves me smiling in the end.
She can be sweet as pie,
Even though she may sometimes cry.
She is a wonderful person to be around,
With her happiness knowing no bounds.
