Sister of Mine

I have never had any sisters of my own,
You are the closest thing to a sister I have ever known.
We have been close for a long time now,
I do not know when it happened, but I do know how.
You have been there for me,
And I there for you, see.
We have been through alot together,
Never giving up on each other.
We talk about what bothers us,
And we get through alot of stuff with trust.
Giving us a purpose to be closer,
And proving in-laws are just as special as any other.
You may have done things that may be sinister,
But I am proud to call you my sister.
We are what family is meant to be,
Sisters for life just you and me.

We don't have a choice who our birth sister is, but, a good friend will always be the best sister we sometimes need.
