Life's Trials
Our lives are never as they appear,
Worries arise for those we hold dear.
Not knowing what awaits around the bend,
Finding ourselves confused in the end.
Once we reach the crossroad,
The truth begins to unfold.
Fights are fought through our worse endeavor,
Leaving us with nothing severed.
The battle is won by choosing,
Never to give into our loosing.
When life seems to be going wrong,
We are reminded to remain strong.
For those who need us in dark hours,
It is they who give us our powers.
To surpass our life's trials,
With their love, generosity, and smiles.
At the end of each day,
We know they shall lead our way.
Because it is our family, friends, and children,
Who truly make our lives more splendid.
