A Lovers World and Dreamers Dream

Hope lives on a four leaf clover.
Greener pastures when yesterday's over.
My heart spins when her hair gets twirled.
And I start to shake in this lovers world.

I walked around the corner and stayed awhile.
That's where I was when I seen her smile.
I felt more in that moment than in my whole life.
Straight to my heart just like a knife.

I've made that turn a time or two.
But theres no turning round now that it's you.
The sun came up on the other side.
Took away any shadow where I can hide.

Destiny delivered a dream for two.
Everything has suddenly become pink and blue.
I can't help but wait for the bubble to pop.
Borrowed trouble in this dream balloon shop.

Hope lives on a four leaf clover.
Greener pastures when yesterday's over.
My heart spins when her hair gets twirled.
And I start to shake in this lovers world.

Sexy Sandy

A pretty little thing named Sandy.
Made all of the men feel so randy.
She's quite a nice lass.
So I won't be crass.
But it really is quite a dandy.

P.S. You'll have to connect the dots. Read between the lines. However you want to put it. :) Peace. :)

Before the End

Sunflowers and dandelions.
Sometimes in life it's a fine line.
We go outside to breathe the air.
Look around, try not to stare.

The little children play and run.
The girls are screaming, having fun.
Little boys follow along.
Learning the words to write the song.

A bouquet of summer's sweet refrain.
A timeless imprint on your brain.
To carry us into the night.
Beyond what sunshine brings to light.

After all the dreams come true.
But get lost in the dawning dew.
Only glimpses of love survive.
As you awake having to strive.

Finally finding out the truth.
About our fantasy's in youth.
All we wanted was a friend.
And a little love before the end.

Skaterrific

There is a poet, her name is SKAT.
She read all my limy's, now that's phat.
When she was done reading.
It showed she had breeding.
So people, what do you think of that?

He Had a Holloweenie

Under his nose hung a big greenie.
The kids all thought he was a meanie.
He didn't have a hankie.
That's why he was so cranky.
Also, he had a hollow weenie.

Little Miss Fancy Font

A sweet little girl named Alex.
Always put words in italics.
Plain print wouldn't do.
So when she was through.
They were known as Alex Italics.

Slippery Sam the Serpent

Slippery Sam the serpent sang songs.
About sexy slitherers in thongs.
The tunes were quite crass.
Cause thongs up their ... .
Let's face it, that just never belongs.

My apologies for being smutty. I think my mind is rotting.

Living In Between

The world comes knocking on your door.
And changes nothing from before.
For who we are is from within.
When we learn that, that's when we win.

There's always some who think they're right.
They just disturb the peace in night.
They only see their own disdain.
With no regard for causing pain.

The world keeps moving right along.
Rearranging right and wrong.
Fundamentally refraining.
The truth of what some find so straining.

They look to find peace in their view.
But some, just rhetoric they spew.
Today's world that lives on the net.
Can make us wish we could forget.

There are many walking 'round.
Who live in silence, don't make a sound.
They're hoping for their lives to change.
But live in between just feeling strange.

Note: I'll leave it here for those who know me to interpret. The rest of you, I wish you peace.

The Spellbound Hellhound

The evening's gloom of mistic glow.
Cast it's spell for all to know.
Deep down indide the dark morass.
Where beast's do dwell in the lowest class.

Above the fray looms pious air.
Consumed by those who just won't share.
The day before the last day came.
Somehow they all wound up the same.

Heaven scented plumes of ruse.
Lingered only to confuse.
The Spellbound Hellhound unleashed it's guise.
To show the foolish they're not so wise.

When everyone is on the run.
And there's no place to stay.
The fiendish binds inside our minds.
Will finally have their way.

A world within a world without.
Will leave no room for a single doubt.
And a path beyond a concsious thought.
Is where you'll find what tomorrow taught.

An Ode To the Road

I dream about turning the key and drive until I'm gone.
And leave behind what cannot wait, you know like mowing the lawn.
But my old car cannot be trusted to take me very far.
So I am left to fantasize as I hang out at the bar.

I think that I would drive out west like pioneers once did.
I certainly imagine things have changed since Ia's a kid.
But it would be so nice to go and find out for myself.
Instead of being stuck here living life up on this shelf.

Traveling within the mind is as safe as it can get.
The pavement's always perfect, never oily, slick or wet.
And if you want to stop and pee, it's only twenty feet.
But food at this bar's not so good if you decide to eat.

Well it's time for me to go and be glad that I'm home.
Until the road calls me again and makes me want to roam.
If and when I ever go, I'll send you a postcard.
Until that time you'll find me just outside tending the yard.
