The Totality of Everything

Mysteriously

Your endless twilight lives on

My Toad and Me

Forever my love will grow
As a princess I will kiss my toad

Odd it may be
With gleam my toad and me

Everlasting our love will be
As green grass under a willow tree

Happiness is a hip-hop
On a lily pad made for two

By choice I weaved this odyssey
Full of joy and merriment

Ladylove, my prince
All cloaked in emerald green

Sweet as honey from a busy bee
Enough is a kiss from that toad to me

Ambiguity

Life is like an ambiguous script
It is nothing more than a over developed metaphor
Not so neatly packed in a box
Nor does if project nicely from the lips

What metaphor teaches a moral lesson
It all seems absurd, contradictory, and inconsistent.

Life is like a sphere out of control
Void…less
And... vacant in a fast... spinning world

There is no compare and contrast
Heaven and Earth are unrelated subjects
Yet... the narrators, they keep navigating
Using the masses as his primary subjects

To those, who have made the world their stage
I am tired of the nonsensical images you create.

Life is spirit
and
Heaven holds no ambiguity

The Little Boy In the Velvet Red Vest

When my heels tromped down the dark narrow path
Where the buck- even – trod
It was early fall, and the trees were half trimmed.
The sun flickered through the barren tops,
and the greenish- brown canopy hung low and half dressed

However, it was not ashamed

The leaves crinkled and they crunched
where my feet and I traveled
And not too far, as I lagged along
I came upon an empty nest

It lay in decay
from the wind and the rain
For how long,
only as long as the eggs were gone

And while I stood there with my head half cocked
I looked close at the old dilapidated twigs that rot
I remembered the boy in the velvet red vest
O’ how nicely it was weaved
it fit snug around his delegate chest

I see him every spring
And no matter how old I get
He still wears the same velvet red vest

The Fisherman

I am but one element amongst the elements
Among the stones, I am a stone
And when upon the hush of night
There is a shimmering star above the moon light

Shore to shore beneath the deepest of seas
The sand in the soul wavers endlessly
And all the realms of nature do spread
The seasons of life, the elements of all man

I see the flickering, the fisherman's light
Amongst the elements, soon a good night
Upon his door fragments fragile will fall
How much longer Lord until you call

Just Another Day

I painted a smile on my face

It required the right temperament

I do wear it out on Sundays

And when the evening stars bring twilight

My smile retires for the night

I Can Smile

One life is given

And

Yesterday, is not my today

And tomorrow is a fragment in time

A few steps forward does not make a difference

It will be… what it will be

Time, is not my conquest

But today, even as the sun does shine

I put my pen away

Close the windows and shutter my eyes

To leave my thoughts inside my crippled mind

Better by far for me to forget, and then….I will smile

Going backwards is never better

From my prospective, this I conceive

Creativity….maybe lost

Like withered leaves loitered on the lawn to long

Song of the Poet

A poet full of noise you empty of sound
A pilgrimage you have trodden under ground

With every seed that nature drops
Without rain the seeds will wither out

Is this the time of the season
Have the nightingale lost their song

Immortality does not exist
A voice composted seeps into the abyss

Who will hasten to regenerate
A poet’s noise from an empty space

Will anyone rebel against conformity
Or join the pilgrimage of the poets plight

Time

The element of time
is what you
make it

Time after time
I FALL back to SPRING forward again
What have I gained
Time is unchanged it remains the same

It doesn't matter where I go
Time shadows behind me
Taking up every minute in every day

Times... I wish time would go away
Give me a little more time and more space

Man has painted numbers by hand
Winds the clock time after time...again and again

Time, it will never stop
Just my time will end, and that is my life
Time is eternity the ever-last

I much rather keep time by a dandelion clock
It blows gently in the wind
To fall down and spring up again

God is timeless
Time as we know it... was made for man
