Last Notes of Tones

Fingers danced, a melody untold,
A bass sound, a promise to unfold.

Special tones, a language of the heart,
Thumping pitches, a passionate start.

Brief records, a love story cast,
From cries of the soul, a message unsurpassed.

Past the mind, a whisper so true,
Straight to the heart, where love’s promises accrue.

Bass sounds hummed a constant refrain,
Preserved melodies echoed through the rain.

I love you, the notes whispered in the breeze,
I love you, a love that would never appease.

Last notes of tones, fading into the night,
But the echo remained, a burning light.

I love you, a promise whispered true,
A bass sound, with preserved melody,

I love you,
I love you.

A symphony of silence, please untold,
Melodies yearn to break free and unfold.

Bass sound, a promise to keep,
Preserved melodies, love’s whispers sleep.

Special tones, shapes in the air,
Language only two hearts can share.

Thumping pitches, a rhythmic retreat,
Promises whispered, never to be beaten.

From the soul’s cries, music takes flight,
Human voices pierce through the night.

Bass sounds hummed, a constant refrain,
Preserved melodies whisper through the rain.

I love you, the notes softly sing,
I love you, a love on the wing.

Last notes fade, a promise held so true,
I love you, whispered anew.

I love you,
I love you,

Suite Case

Pack, gotta fly! Where to? Who knows!
Cheap tickets, shaky plane, Oh woes!

Boarding zone mess,
Big travel stress,

Up, up, and away!
suitcase MIA,

Ears pop, attendants in a ballet.

"Drinks? Snacks?" They chime.
Seats recline, one at a time.

Land ho! Brace for a bump,
"Please stay seated," with a thump.

Luggage claim, a weary fight,
Then, there it is! The reunion is bright!

Silhouette of Nature

Draped trees, etched in crimson fire,
Sun’s last kiss, as day retires.

Scattered clouds, in dazzling dress,
Raindrops hang, a jeweled caress.

Rainbow’s Bridge, across the blue,
Violet-green, and reds anew,

Sahara’s winds, a whispered sigh,
Hot sand dances underneath a fiery sky.

Snowy peaks, in crystal light,
Flakes like stars, taking flight,

Frozen frost, upon the pane
Winter breathes, a chilling reign.

Warm mist rises, soft and slow,
Kissing earth, a whispered flow,

Fog ascends, a silent shroud,
Nature’s secrets whispered loudly.

Hailstones ping, like needles fine,
Tiny tines, a silver wine.

Thunder cracks, a lightning’s tear,
Gray skies weep, the winds hold fear.

Hurricanes, with winds that moan,
Ocean’s wrath, upon the stone.

Trees uprooted, in twisting dance,
Twister’s fury, given a chance.

This silhouette is a stage so grand,
Nature’s drama is close at hand.

From fiery dawn to frozen night
Her beauty is vast, her power, bright.

So let us stand in awe, and humbly see,
The silhouette of nature, wild and free

Food, My Frenemy

Oh, melty cheese, your temptress sly,
Deep-fried bliss, you wink an eye.

Comforting carbs, a doughy friend,
My cravings sing, and my willpower bends.

But wait! A rumble down below,
A traitorous gurgle, oh no!

This love affair, it comes at a cost,
A belly full, a battle lost.

Pizza Dreams and Burger Towers,
Funyuns, eaten by the hours.

They whisper sweet, then make me groan,
In this love-hate dance, I sing alone.

Food, my frenemy, oh so dear,
A continual battle, year after year.

My stomach wins, a joyful ache,
But oh, the price my pants will take!

Who Knows

Who knows why the waters never end, flowing deeply into running rivers and streams,
A constant current, unlike fleeting tastes, that fades with overindulgence and loss of their dreams,

Who knows what night conceals beneath its starry cloak?
When does the day surrender to the inky dark?
But words, like echoes, climb within and evoke,
Unforgettable memories, leaving their mark.

Who knows why time, with its relentless hand,
Fixes and sets all things in their rightful place?
Yet love remains a constant in this shifting land,
Seated within the heart, a steadfast embrace.

Needles of Darkness

Please open the door, it’s dark in here. “Go to your room,” the
The command hangs heavily.

Can I come downstairs now? The question met with silence, a
hollow echo.

Hungry, a plea lost in the suffocating air.

Be quiet! A hiss that chills deeper than the winter wind. Be still, a
demand that binds like rusted chains.

Wrapped eyes and hands, a sightless, touchless world. Can’t see,
can’t feel, adrift in a sea of fear.

The peel of a skinny branch, a cruel reminder. It bounces back, a
mockery of the sting it leaves.

Cold baths, the bite of water on chilled skin. Hand-me-down
clothes, a constant reminder of what’s missing.

Winter outside, a mirrored coldness within. The memories are
pushed to the back of the mind, but remains.

The needles from childhood are sharp and ever-present.
The door opens, and a sliver of light pierces the darkness.

But will it be enough to chase away the shadows?

Crowded Streets

Crowded streets awaken,
Coffee cups clutch tight,
Shoes tap a morning rhythm.

Rush hour, red lights
Glare down, impatient.
A sea of faces waits.

Greenlight, then a surge,
Let’s go!” the crowd exhales,
Pushing, never touching,

Horns a symphony
Metal snakes inch forward.
Wide chorus line forms,

Moving to the beat,
The subway doors hiss open.
Bustling atmosphere,

Shoulders brush, a glance,
Words lost in the murmur.
Serious or smiling,

Eyes locked on glowing screens,
Lost in private worlds.
Arms jostle for space,

The air, thick with exhaust,
The city hums its song.

Yellow light’s slow brake,
Another wave arrives,
The crowded street churns on.

She's in Love

What does she do when she’s in love?

She sits and thinks, she dreams and sighs,
She pushes and shoves, just to meet him in her heart all the time,

What does she do when she’s in love?

She travels in a daze,
She gazes for him to pass her way.

What does she do when she’s in love?

Time is lost in his every motion,
Time is spent in focus on him with a lover’s notion,

Time is soaked in the dream of him, way deeply afar and above,
She’s lost in his love,

Day Pass Tomorrow

In every day that passes, a new tomorrow unfolds
Each breath we take is a borrowed moment, a story yet untold.

In each smile, a peace that transcends the farthest star,
In each teardrop, a release, healing from afar,

Oh, the laughter that rings with joy, a symphony so bright,
Oh, life’s bittersweet coil, a tapestry of light and night,

With passing days adorned with flowers in bloom,
Tomorrow’s promise whispers, dispelling the fading gloom,

We search for time to borrow, yet each moment is a gift,
Embrace the present, dear heart, and find solace in the shift,

More

More than a scent, a whisper in the wind,
A call to the senses, deeper than skin.

A lick, a touch, a promise untold,
Of flavors waiting, mysteries to unfold.

A bite, a spark, a fire ignites,
As taste explodes, a symphony of delights.

A chew, a dance, a slow release,
Unwrapping layers brings inner peace.

A swallow, then, a pause, a moment to savor,
The lingering joy, a lingering flavor.

But still, the hunger whispers low,
“More, more,” it calls, and on we go.

For in this seeking, in this constant chase,
Lies the delight, the endless embrace.

Of a world of flavors, ever in bloom,
A journey of taste never comes too soon
