A Simple Rhyme

Out with the old
And into the new

Coming from black
And turning it blue

Getting through hate
Giving it with love

Coming up from hell
Going to heaven above

Your arms are closed
The wings spread wide

Telling the truth
Turning them to lies

Going from rich
Ending in poor

Never say less
Forever is more

Going from dark
Stepping into the light

What is done wrong
Must make it right

From the brightest day
To the darkest night

Losing a battle
Winning a fight

humans are weak
God is might

coming from sight
going blind

what is yours
is now mine

us wanting 
is to have

dont be sad
just be glad

do smile
please dont frown

going from deaf
hearing those sounds

what was white 
is now black

this is this

walking tall
feeling small

maybe weak
but its strong

feeling regret
praying for hope

listen to the do's
never the don'ts

My Sister

In my heart, I did the right thing. I know I did. It hurts that I did. But I just can't stand to see what I'm seeing from her. There are times I just want to head back to my old home, find her and slap her upside her head and question on what she is doing. This ongoing with her will never change. She will never change. Every 6 to 7 years, she disappears and then waltz back into my life as if nothing has changed. Well that part is true, because she has NEVER changed. My heart still loves her, but my mind hates her for what she is doing. Its an ongoing cycle and I can no longer be a part of it no more. Until then of her ever changing just one bit, will I then open my arms and my door. Because my heart still loves her, I'm blocking her. It aches me to see what she is doing to herself. It aches me to see the games which she still plays. It upsets me she may never change. So I'm blocking her. I just did. I have important people in my life to take care of then to see and wonder of the immature games she still plays.

Making That Dime

3:30am its time to rise
3:30am gotta make that dime
Get up and stretch
Get coffee and dressed

Sit at my computer
Looking at the news
Seeing what the world is up to
While feeling nothing but blues

Gotta get lunch ready
Gotta get my posture ready
Grab my bag and head for the door
My time of freedom is now no more

Driving down the dark roads
Feeling the cool muggy breeze
Dodging all the pot holes
That you can hardly see

Pulling into the parking lot
Where sitting and waiting is due
Thinking of my freedom
Won't come until tw0.

Here comes my crew
My morning gang
The boss just pulled in
Now lets start the day

Clocking into the computer
Logging into the phone
I think of you my dear
Sitting home all alone

How I wish I could stay with you
How I wish we had more time
But someone has to get out there
And make that worthless dime

Sitting at my desk
Waiting for that tone
Dealing with these clients
That tend to call on my phone

Getting headaches from the obvious
Getting laughter from the old
Is it worth the aggravation
The boss seems to think so

Pushing through the day
Taking these calls
When will it get better
Its obvious not at all

Time is slowly dragging
How I am missing you
Can't wait to punch out
Can't wait to leave at two

Now its time to leave
Don't need to ask me twice
I'm happy with glee
This evening will be nice

Seeing you waiting for me
Brings a smile on my face
You give me a wonderful kiss
Saying it is worth the wait

Our evening is spent in bliss
For nothing seems amiss
Yet our time ends soon
And puts a damper on the mood

Time to get ready for bed
Thoughts running through my head
You lay beside me and give me that smirk
Knowing I'll have to get up and go to work

Its the same every day
Sometimes I wish we'd go away
But there is never the time
For I gotta make that dime

I Thought I Knew U

Its a long night, i had to work the late shift.
Calm and boring like any other nite.
You came in from your own work.
Bought a ticket and stepped aside.

Every night you do the same
Looking at me with that shy gaze
Suddenly u gave a smirk
I knew right then you weren't a jerk

Now I expected you every nite
Comming to see me
Making my nite very brite.
And you did every nite

Its busy then usual
Its the weeked so its usual
Here you come right on time
Buying your ticket and stepping aside

While u waited aside
rushing the customers out i tried
Finally u show up infront of me
Giving u my phone and address is what came from me

I couldn't waite
I had to call
When I did
U didn't answer at all

Your brother did
You were asleep
Poor thing
Hope u were thinking of me

One month later 
We've been dating quite a bit
I fell for u hard
Nothing seemed amissed

Two months later
Something felt odd
Had to get checked out
I was pregnant oh my god

But you did right
Like a man I expected you too
you got on one knee 
and asked me to marry you

Nine months of pregnancy
Here you still are
Trying to hold back tears
Oh you are definantly a dear

Here comes our pressious baby
Here it comes
You cry for joy
For now we have a little boy

He looks like u
but has my smile
He is so precious
our grinns turn to smiles

We get our own place
To raise our own
To be a family
In our own home

Everything was fine and happy
I was in lover's bliss
I felt it in our kiss
But then it ended just as quick

It ended quick
Oh god i was so blind
Something i must've missed
When along came that first hit

Your smile hardly shows
Your anger begins to grow
Im getting scared even more
The love you had is never more

Your anger turns to hate
Your hate turns to hits
Im so damn scared
Im not liking this one bit

I feard for our son
The one I thought you loved
Oh you still love him
But no longer love me

Im black and blue
Cause all the hitting 
And strangling from you
I knew what i had to do

I had to go

The love is no more
I had to go on my own

I thought I knew you

I almost thanked the heavens above

The Eagle's Flight

As soft and gentle as the Eagle flies, it spreads its wing's
through the spacious skies. In its round about ways it 
circles the trees, with a gentle touch of a soft cool breese.
 
Beneathe its wings, the wind has caught, and lifts him up
but not alot, for it's up to him to find its place, or forever
the sky is all but space...

Can'T Let U Go

"You brought me into this world. You guided me the best you knew how to. You watched me 
grow before your very eyes and yet you still can't seem to let me go. Now the tables have 
turned, for I've watched you live your life with out me there. Watching you live your life 
alone and free. Now its my turn to lend you my hand. As I guide you on your way and watch 
you leave this world when the time comes even though I still can't let you go."

I had no choice but to let u go

Love Conquors All

I sit here on the beach today
trying to sort my frazzled brain
watching the tide come and go
thinking of tomorrow as never more

I sit here on the rocks
thinking things through
Trying to decide in life
what the heck should I do

Sorting out my issues
My problems in views
Wondering how did I end up
With someone as special as you

You see, Ive been hurt
For as long as I can remember
I've been beatened and bruised
Strangled and raped, all types of weather

I see myself in a wall of lonelyness
I see myself closed up within
Trying to decide what to do
Trying to accept the love from you

But then you came to me
With that smile ever so bright
You came to me
With love mightier then mine

You wrapped your arms around me
wrapped them ever so tight
Promising me that you'll never
Let me out of your sight

I feel my wall shaking
My feelings rush through me in ripples
My wall begins to brake
From love pure and simple

Tears begin to flow down my face
You wipe them away 
with the stroke of your hand
While holding me in warm embrace

I look out into the ocean
sitting on this beach

come deep within me
