Can'T Let U Go

"You brought me into this world. You guided me the best you knew how to. You watched me
grow before your very eyes and yet you still can't seem to let me go. Now the tables have
turned, for I've watched you live your life with out me there. Watching you live your life
alone and free. Now its my turn to lend you my hand. As I guide you on your way and watch
you leave this world when the time comes even though I still can't let you go."

well, welcome #1, #2 you asked for critiques (oops it was IRMA you asked but now you got me LOL) It is a good write. You need to expand on it. It is not clear what or who you are speaking to or about. I don't think it's a poem. It's more prose but thats FINE, just a matter of labeling forms. It is worth building on write more! Light & Love

Thank you Kevin Semeniuk and Christopher Aechtner for the comments and comliments. I ment every word. I posted it one time on Facebook to my mother for Mother's Day and her Birthday. So I figured why not post it here as well. Please check out the song I wrote as well."Im Searching For My Lord", this song I personally wrote at the age of 18 after I was baptized in 1994.
