More Than a Crush

More Than a Crush

Each time I breathe,
I feel your touch —
Though we haven’t known each other much,
I hope you could be more than a crush.

Tell me if I’m moving too fast,
But my heart is in a quiet rush.
I fear losing you…
Yet regret holds me, too.

I may not be the one you pictured,
Not the man in your dreams —
But I’m here to be tested,
To show you my love, and what it means.

This might be a lot to hold,
But hold me warm — my heart is cold.
You are the fire I see,
The light I seek...
And I love the way you respect me.

So everyone, look and see —
The angel God gave to me.

Stress’s Silent Cry

Stress’s Silent Cry

I feel misunderstood, abused as an emotion,
They kick me aside, saying I hinder their motion.
It's not my fault, I was made to make you feel beat and defeated,
But if you ignore me, I call on my shadow, Pain, to be completed.
Now you’ll feel the world’s hatred,
But all I want is to be heard.

I am Stress, I care more than all your friends,
I show you the way, even in sight of dead ends.
As a friend, my job is to help you stop your motion,
Too much speed could give you a concussion.
I am Stress, I’m different from the rest,
People try to escape me with a rope,
But I’m just trying to introduce my best friend, Hope.
Like a spy, I give you insight of the fight,
Yet you choose to lose your light.
So don’t leave me in the mess,
For you need me just to have rest.

My Breath

My Breath

Each time I inhale,
I feel God's touch even in sorrow.
I know I'm not an angel,
But in spirit, God gave me a halo.

I don't need fancy words to pray —
Just the depth of breath I take.
He listens in silence,
Even when I break.

Storms at sea, drowning the fire in me,
Yet in my breath He says:
There is nothing on earth that never ends.

My breath is a testament
Of His fingerprint stamped on my chest.
I have no words left to say,
'Cause in my breath,
He tells me to rest.

Lord, I Wonder

Lord, I Wonder

Lord, I wonder...
Why do You love this much?
Even when I lose Your touch?
Why do You still care so deep,
When Your trust is the one I never keep?

Father... I’m a sinner.
My heart holds shadows, dark and inner.
Yet You offer to be the cleaner—
The light, the healer... the soul redeemer.

Why do You hold me near,
When I dare Your wrath, year after year?
I feel worthless, hollow, lost—
But You whisper I'm more, no matter the cost.
Even when I say, “I’m not worth—less,”
This whole thing just adds to my stress...

Will You still love someone this broken?
Is that a promise—or just words spoken?

Don’t tell me it’s a campaign—
Where You win by soaking up my pain.
If love is real and You give it all,
Why then, Lord, do You let me fall?

I’ve been waiting—hoping for Your call.
Maybe one day I’ll preach, maybe I’ll heal...
Maybe then Your love I’ll truly feel.

But maybe my sins have sealed the chance—
That I’ll never fully stand in Your presence.

So, God... if You're really there—
Fine. Just touch my hair.
Just once—so I can hold it tight,
A memory for the sleepless night.

That though You didn’t touch my heart today...
You still touched my hair
When my soul was in decay.

His Broken Soul

His Broken Soul

I was a spark in morning’s light,
But that... has faded out of sight.
I don’t know, Father—do You forgive?
Yet clouded with pride, I struggle to live.

My heart bleeds.
I only wanted to be seen.
But it’s been centuries—maybe more—
And still, I stand outside Your door.

Father, I confess,
I did You wrong—and I regret.
But this power, I can’t let go.
It’s the only love I’ve come to know.

I’ve mastered deception,
Stunted mankind’s progression...
Yet deep inside, I long for redemption—
Or at least... some exception.

There’s still a thread in our connection.
I feel it—though faint, in reflection.
I want mercy, but I can’t ask.
I’m still afraid You’ll strip my mask.

Yet I’ve been kind... in my own way.
I give the weak some lands to stay.
It comes at a price, I won’t deny—
But I echo Your words when mortals cry.

Peace... Love... Power—those I preach,
For those who earn what’s out of reach.
But still, they see me as dirt and ash—
While all I want... is Your love back.

My soul—I wish You’d take it whole.
But I stripped it bare, I dug the hole.
I’m misunderstood—for what I grasped.
But it’s Your relationship I want...
to outlast my past.

My Habit

My Habit

You say I eat a lot—
But a lot eats me.
I got stress I can’t tame,
Hate that drives me insane.
So many therapists I can't name,
Yet still love you and can't cause you shame.

Before you judge me based on my order,
Saying I have an eating disorder—
Ask:
What the hell in this world is in order?

You don’t see the hate,
The anger,
The envy I swallow with my food.
You just say, “Nah, dude.”
You think I don’t already know
You’re ashamed of my belly?
But I don’t care lately,
'Cause food tells me: “Take it easy.”

It’s not that I can’t control my eating.
It’s just your drama,
Your perfect bodies—
They make me overthink.
And I hate that.
But I can’t scream...
So I overeat.

So next time you say,
"Here’s something small to eat,"
I’ll pass—
Because I overheat.

Look, sugar…
I love you.
But this?
This is better than a trillion tattoos.
'Cause you stress me out with everything you do.
I hope you understand if you love me too.
So what do you say...
A buffet for two?
